Lol..he didnt attempt or make one even fairly difficult throw. hitting RB;s out of the backfield and dumpoffs over the middle is not something that gets me excited about our 1st rd QB
To be fair, the third down throw to Matthews was not a 'wide open' easy throw. That was a good pass.
And one thing you could see from the field level replay was that he changed his throwing trajectory on at least one of those passes because he had a defensive lineman in position to bat it down. That was nice to see, especially after the early concerns about batted passes for #17. I like it when my QB demonstrates an ability to make improvements to his game.
But on the whole, you are right. He was not throwing fastballs through dinner plates. If you want to see him make those throws, though, please check his 2012-2013 game film. Because that's all we asked him to do.
