Taylor says Carey will be good.

How encouraging is it to see a defensive player bonding and sharing wisdom with an offensive player. I think we're in for a lot less finger-pointing and a lot more unity this year. It gets more exciting daily. This is like the reverse of last year's avalanche of awful TC news.
JT is a leader on the team and he must have seen how Wanny screwed the rookies head up with his constant swapping and playing/not playing him.

actually wasn't spielman who drafted him? if he turns out to ba an awesome LT i'm willing to forgive rick for giving minnesota a 4th

I'm not. That was a bad move. We needed a DT too and Vince Wilfolk is a beast. We coulda cared less is the Pat's jumped us to get Carey. Then we'd have Vince. That was a bonehead move.

All that aside go VC. I hope he does great at LT and I love hime as a Dolphin.

We STILL should've drafted Julius Jones. Ricky or not, I said it then, I say it now..

HIndsight is 20/20. At the time of the draft, it would have been a stupid mistake. IMO

Blame Tony Wise for Carey's demise. He was the one "teaching" him technique. I dont see this as a Spielman/D.W. mistake.

I think you got Stephan Jackson and Julius Jones mixed up

it's amazing how people change their minds on someone so quick. everyone wanted to burn Carey at the stake last season. I kept telling you give him time, he was a rookie! and we have Houck now!
I'm sorry if this is a second name or something, but according to your join date you weren't here last season...

No, we DIDN'T NEED a DT at that time, except for grooming. Bowens and Chesters injuries were post draft. This is coming from a person who recognized at the time that Wilfork appeared to be the best value, and I wasn't hot on Carey.

Still, LTs are MUCH harder to find that RT's. We drafted him for RT. IF he turns into a servicable LT, how great of a pick was that?

LT is the 2nd most important position on offense behind QB. If Carey turns out decent (which I'm confident he will) then who gives a hoot if we lost a 4th rounder. We will have a reliable guy watching the QB's blind side. That's what matters.
