Looks like Todd Heap is gone to the Jets along with Plax


We need to hurry up and get Miller or Boss like STAT!
 
We need guards, john jerry sucks very much. Incognito is garbage as well. Please ireland sign waters and whoever else you want.
 
they have keller. heap wont do anything for them
 
Rex is going to try and copy what NE did last year with their TE's. I see them running a few more 2 TE sets and having Heap spell Keller. Perfect situation for Heap, as he wouldn't make a full season as the primary TE, so spot work fits his game. Looks like a dumb move by the Jets, but it actually gives them another situational weapon.
 
you get the feeling the Jets are just grabbing names because they lost out on Nnamdi. that New York media can be brutal

Apparently, a few of their players have restructured their contracts to free up cap room this year. They're playing for the "here and now" with that approach, as it can present big cap trouble down the line. When a player restructures their contract, they aren't giving money back to the team, the current years cap hit just spread to future years. They convert much of the years base salary into a bonus that can be applied to future years. I love it when a player acts like they are doing the team such a favor by restructuring - when they are actually just getting more of their money up front.
 
I live here in NYC and all I can say is WOW! I am dismayed at how the Fins can't compete with the Jets for the big time stars. I guess I am spoiled being a Yankees fan and somewhat expecting to be able to get who we want but this just stinks. Playing catch up again. Who are are receivers again......Marshal and Bess? TE?? QB?? ETC..............Compared to NE and the Jets we are lacking that's all I can say. Bash all you want.
 
Heap was in for a visit he has not officially signed!

NFLN saying its basically a done deal just working out the contract.

Exactly these are role players and we just drafted Clay and that Human Torch Guy - let them spend their cap and resrtucture contracts I am glad they aren't spending money on Olinemen
 
No one wants to come to Miami, because the GM and the coach are lame ducks and the owner is a jacka@$.
