Tear an ACL in minicamp? How probable?

my friend was supposed to start for our highschool team as a freshman at RB and he tore his ACL playing Flag football just making a cut. The next year as a sophmore he was slated as the starter at RB again, and he tore his OTHER ACL in 7 man drills on the second day of practice... that was it for him.

We've just been cursed with injuries.

I second that. Doesn't it always seem like our players get hurt all the time in minicamp.
