Tebow on the Trade Block, Miami Dolphins a possibility

It's kind of pathetic how I see some thinly and not so thinly veiled racist and anti-semitic comments on here go unchallenged or even unnoticed but in comparison, when it comes to anything negative about Tebow's beliefs, those same folks are now getting their bowels in an uproar. Personally, spiritually I'm a Deist and have little use for organized religion, but to each his own and I understand how some people are uplifted by their beliefs. However, when it comes to Tebow or anyone foisting their beliefs in an in-your-face way at me, my reflex reaction is **** him and his beliefs.. keep em out of professional sports. So the religious backlash against him IMO is understandable and somewhat justified.

Ill pray for you...lol

Come on man, lets keep this a FOOTBALL forum, i am pretty sure there is a religion forum. Religion is a personal thing, so lets keep it that way.

CK i don't believe you can base someone's worth on TEN plays. Those picks would cost us the spot what both of our starting FS were picked.

The guy is a massive distraction. If you don't have the production to match the hype, it's going to cause problems in any NFL team. Look at Denver, word is that the players were all pushing McDaniels for Orton to be the starter only a couple of weeks into training. Within a year, the high character, alpha male has obviously not got his teammates batting for him.

Bring him in as QB competition and he'll be a distraction. Bring him in as a wildcat triggerman and he'll be a distraction. Bring him in at a TE and he'll be a distraction.

I actually think the idea of "a Tebow type" to come in and finish drives off in the redzone is not a bad one. But Tebow himself is waaaay to big an ego and a hype machine for that to work.

It's not ALL Tebow's fault he's a cult figure, but when did blame ever change the facts?

Why wouldn't we want an H-back/TE/QB?

Damn, I'd love to have Tebow on the team for the right price.

I still have a man-crush on the last guy we had that filled that position, ya'll might remember him "Crash" Jensen.

No one besides a Florida team wants this guy on their team. Florida homers. Folks having a hard time NOT living the glory days of Florida. It's over ya'll.

I can't possibly see how he could help this team... all his presence would do would tempt the staff towards "W-Cat" formations.

I know he's got a place in the heart of Floridians, but come on. There is no reason to believe he will be successful in this league...

You mean other than the fact that he actually contributed last year as a rookie to at least 1 of Denvers wins?
Thats more than most 1st year players can say...

We need a winning attitude in the MIA...Tebow = Winner

I say bring it but like posted earlier the J-E-T-S will surely beat us out

Merling for Tebow straight up..One bad dude for a good dude with upside.Plus you help fill the stadium.

Id take Tebow in a heart beat..thats what this team needs, a qb with heart! If coached up properly this kid could be a beast. sorry im a gator fan so f*k what anyone else thinks ill love him here! Also if we dont get him the Pats or Jets will and he will strive in theyre teams. Belicheck and Meyer are good friends and the Pats were rumored to be interested in Tebow if he slid. I dont see why they wouldnt get him, especially when Denver would prob let him go for nothing. Belicheck has a way of getting great players for damn near nothing and makin them pro bowlers...Mallet n Tebow as back ups? sounds good to me...

I don't know if he'll ever be a good QB in the NFL or not but as a Christian I'm rooting for him......the guy has never done anything bad like some of the other thugs in the NFL so why do people wish him bad?

Ozzy rules!!

This is what being a real sports fanatic is about. I understand "UM" fans hate the Gators, but what does that have to do with Tebow failing in the NFL? Hes no longer a Gator hes a Bronco!! I mean I HATEEEEE UM but if we got Andre Johnson id be ESTATIC!!!!! haha I hope this kid does good on w/e team he goes to, not because im a gator fan but because he has the talent to do it, he jsut needs the proper coaching like every other young QB in the league.
