Tebow will be starting against us on "Gator Day" in OUR stadium

Not sure what the uproar is all about. It is Gators day, not Broncos day, so who gives a ****? So what that Tebow is starting for them, Pouncey is starting for us.

When, in the history of the NFL, has a team honored the other team's starting QB at a home game?

How can you not get it?

I love it.

Has anybody watched this guy as a pro? He is absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! He couldn't hit the ocean if he was in a boat in the middle of it, and his pom-pom rah rah chant doesnt win him games in the Pro's.

I hope it happens. Sounds like a win for the good guys

Again, they are not honoring the Broncos or just Tim Tebow, they are honoring the entire Gators national championship team, that includes Pouncey a starter on the Dolphins.

Did you know that it is the Hurricanes home statium and we are honoring one of our state rivals in their own home statium? This is not a good thing for Miami.

I have a harder time because it is disrespectfull to the Hurricanes. I could care less about the Dolphins / Broncos part of it.

There have been many threads debating this so I won't do that. The Dolphins fanatics that don't live in Miami think it's a good idea to bring in more fans. For a majority of the home town Miami fans it's a slap in the face. Most are also Hurricane fans and HATE the Gators. That's it in a nutshell. No ones right or wrong. Just understand our feelings and don't be surprised by the boo's on Sunday.

Come on Nubs, you know Tebow was the rock star of that team. They carved one of his rants into a wall and put a statue of him in front of the the stadium for Christs sake. Pretty sure the Pouncey statue hasn't been commissioned just yet.

Frankly I didn't give a crap, but you have to appreciate the the irony of this situation. We actually have solicited and advertised to draw fans of the opposing team into the stadium. Very likely turned the Broncos into the home team if you go by fan count. It's friggen hilarious and a perfect snapshot of how this team has been run for 10-15 years. No matter what they have tried it's turned into hot garbage.

Going over to the Bronco's forums, they are Tebow mad.

I can't help but think (living in Gainesville) if anyone in the Jag Offs front office is really regretting not drafting him. Just selling tickets alone.

The Dolphins offered the Hurricanes a chance to celebrate their national championship win also. The Hurricanes TURNED them down. No disrespect at all from the Dolphins.

This is a NFL game and they are using halftime to remember an important moment in the history of the state of Florida. This is not a college game, this is not a Hurricanes game. I know it pisses off some Hurricane fans, but this has nothing to do with the Hurricanes. This is the Dolphins stadium on Sunday and they have no allegiance to the Canes on a NFL Sunday. If Penn State wins National Championship sometime in the future, I am sure Eagles fans will not care if they celebrate at Lincoln Financial Field, even though the Temple Owls do have home games there. Don't pull the rival card, because Penn State and Temple play almost every year.

As a Dolphins fan, I don't give a crap what they want to do at halftime. They could celebrate the New York Yankees for all I care. These teams are NOT NFL teams and have NO affiliation with the Dolphins.

Sounds pretty stupid to me. Wonder how the Hurricanes feel about the Gators getting a "day" in their home stadium.

Normally you would think that a lot of Canes fans would show up at the game to counter "Gator Day" and then you realize that these are Canes fans we are talking about............:p
