Tell me where Ryan Tannehill had such a bad 1st half

stats mean something, not everything and stats w/o context don't tell us much.

Can't have it both way, either you use stats because they give you information, or you dislike stats because they are misleading. Most people that have shown you all the stats to backup what they wanted to prove to you had far more context then what you had.

Ryan hasn't been better in the reg season. mark was better as a 1st-3rd yr QB, Ryan has been better than year 4 Mark who had the worst weapons in the league plus Sparano and tebow just for fun.

Not even close, Ryan has made throws that Mark couldn't ever make or come close to ever duplicating even in his wildest and craziest dreams. The only thing Mark has on Ryan, was his success in the playoffs, and even that is only because Ryan did not have the luck of facing two straight teams in the regular season taking a dive and allowing him to get into the playoffs.

This is the guy most comparable to The Butt Fumbler - although he did actually make the big show and win a division and conference..... in the past, and very likely going forward

He missed a few game changing plays. We dominated on offense and only got 6 points outta it. That's a problem. He definitely played well, but you gotta hit open guys. He missed Hartline and Clay for TD's. It's a fact, but not a damnation.

What was wrong with drive 5 where we started at midfield where I listed as Ryan's worse drive.

1st and 10 at MIA 46 (Shotgun) R.Tannehill pass short right to C.Clay pushed ob at NYJ 44 for 10 yards (D.Landry).
1st and 10 at NYJ 44 (Shotgun) R.Tannehill pass incomplete short right to C.Clay.
2nd and 10 at NYJ 44 (Shotgun) R.Tannehill pass short middle to C.Clay to NYJ 16 for 28 yards (D.Milliner; E.Reed).
1st and 10 at NYJ 16 (No Huddle, Shotgun) R.Tannehill pass incomplete short left to B.Hartline.
2nd and 10 at NYJ 16 (Shotgun) R.Tannehill pass incomplete short left to B.Hartline (D.Milliner).
3rd and 10 at NYJ 16 R.Tannehill pass incomplete deep right to M.Wallace.
4th and 10 at NYJ 16 C.Sturgis 34 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-J.Denney, Holder-B.Fields. 3 0

Not one freaking running play also 4 out of 6 plays were out of the shotgun.

Even though Miller had an OK running game it's the short yardage and lack of using it sometimes kills us.

I rewatched the game and paid close attention to the 1st half. He wasn't that bad actually. He missed about 4 throws. The problem is those 4 throws were huge potential plays, either TDs or first downs

I will say this though, Ryan wasn't the reason the majority of those drives stalled.

In the first drive, Miller ran a screen in for a TD but it was called back due to a clay penalty. Then a missed FG.

Another drive was stalled at the 1 yard line due to crappy play calling.

The INT was not his fault because he was hit as he threw and the ball hung in the air like a punt and Wallace was right there but made a lame effort to stop the interception.

I'd say only the 4th and 1 misfire to Hartline was really on him, but that play call was questionable as well. On a 4th and 1 you pass the ball more than 20 yards, when you need 1 yard?

I have always use stats, I just don't post blind #s as if they mean something like the average fan.

Stop[ w/ the Ryan has made throws Mark couldn't dream of nonsense. Mark was better than Ryan, Ryan may be better in the future but not yet.

this is what fans post that don't understand the game. Thanks for continuing to prove that day after day after day.

Dude Mark fukking sucks!! He threw one pass a slant route. he is pathetic! His team doesn't want him, nobody would want that guy. Big deal his defense won a couple of playoff games. he is garbage

If the Jets cut Sanchez, how many teams would want him as their starter??

I say maybe one or two? Just as a stop gap until they draft a QB.

If Tannehill is a free agent right now, how many teams want him as their starter?? I would say 12-15

12-15? stop it. They'd attract the same attention mainly b/c mark is damaged goods right now.

You don't dominate TOP & stack 1st down after 1st down, with the running being awful on short yardage situation, if you have bad QB play . As for the point left on the field, well yes, but thats not all his fault, we all know its thought to be efficient passing the Ball in the redzone.

Tannehill as his flaws, sacks & fumbles, but that as greatly improved as the season went on, I will admit that he lacks touch on his deep throws, but was awfully close on a lots of them, so he doesn't need to improve a whole lot to fix that.

my pleasure  you reveal your homerism and jealousy in most every post (and I haven't even gotten to most of your documented hypocrisies yet - although Buffalo Fin and Hoops are doing a good job on their own.... so stay tuned)
