Tell me where Ryan Tannehill had such a bad 1st half

Stop looking at the stat sheet and go re-watch the 1st half. He left a ton of points on the board. Missed open guys for scores. Plain and simple. Moving it between the 30s is great, but he didn't put points on the board.

running backs can't punch it in on 3 straight plays....tannehills fault

Okay first off I'm still going to thumbs down your post anyways because you are you. For once your point is valid though.

Super immature.

so it u run on first and second down then the qb throws an incompletion on 3rd and 9 its the qbs fault? a bad half? lol OK sure

I said none of that.

Yeah, he missed at least 2 wide open deep throws by not looking down the field. I think it may have been Hartline for both of them. The Tim Ryan said somehthing about it too. Paraphrasing he said, "Hartline was open in the endzone. You cant miss a wide open Hartline streaking down the field. That would have been a touchdown."

He flat missed Clay in the end zone. He missed Hartline down the field. I think he was trying to throw a back shoulder pass, but he missed it. Either that, or it was a miscommunication. In either case, bad play when we needed a good one. He elected not to pull the trigger when Hartline was open deep on a post.

He didn't have a good first half. That said, I think the fact that he had a bad half and it wasn't terrible is a sign of progress in and of itself. His floor is rising, IMO.

except you ran it very well against the league's best rush D. You CAN run, your OC chooses not to for some reason.

I don't really like the NBA, I'm more of a guy who follows former Heels in the NBA though I do want to see the Knicks and Nets win. when Lebron goes back to Cleveland you guys can go back into hiding again:lol:

Even during Miami's epic 15 win season, there were 13 other teams with worse attendance than us. Fail.

never said u did...I was asking a general question

Stats don't tell you what was on the field and how many points were left on the field. Although he came back and finished the game is over all performance was ok.

can someone please answer how its tannehills fault the running backs can't punch it in 3 plays in a row?

so the running backs are blameless when it was first and goal from the 5 and couldn't get it in on 3 plays in a row

Of course not, but I think any announcer, football player, analyst, Gm, or coach will tell you that Tannehill did not have that good of a first half and left points all over the field. He's young and isn't there yet....but he played well in the second half and played pretty good overall.

Completed 19 of 29 passes in the first half with a crap running game.....I'll take that on the road.

when Lebron goes back to Cleveland you guys can go back into hiding again:lol:

Actually I was wrong Junc, in our 15 win season, there 22 other teams with worse attendance than Miami. We finished top 10 in attendance in the franchise's worst season of all time by far. Oh, and this was 2 seasons before LeBron. Fail.

can someone please answer how its tannehills fault the running backs can't punch it in 3 plays in a row?

I don't think anyone blamed tannehill for that. The only complaint I've heard is that his deep ball accuracy has left a lot of points on the field the past few weeks. There was a few plays where players were open and he either held onto it or missed on the throw. It's just something he needs to get better at

so let me get this straight...tannehill misses deep passes which are low percentage plays but the running backs are blameless when they can't gain 5 yards on 3 straight plays....that logic is brilliant

This thread isn't about the RBs. Stay on topic.

it is on topic because people mentioned tannehill was to blame for only scoring 6 points....
