Terms of Reggie Bush trade revealed

Yes correct he was going to be released though. My bad.

Which is why I said it was a contract dump. Either way, New Orleans were ridding themselves of the contract the second they drafted Ingram. One could argue that the fact they got anything is a positive for them, but again, if you ignore the numbers or even the assumption that he was to be released, New Orleans got ripped off.

i had heard it pretty definitively that we had given the saints our 2012 5th rounder and jonathon amaya, and we were going to swap 2012 6th rounders (and i was ecstatic). hearing that it was just the swap of 6ths and amaya is excellent news. thanks nubs! i have liked pretty much all of ireland's moves since parcells left (kevin burnett, reggie bush, pouncey, DT, clay, edmond clyde gates, jimmy wilson, etc.), and have no concern personnel-wise going forward (draft, trades or free agency). i think he is a good talent evaluator and improving.

It's been awhile that I can recall since we've been The Dutch and someone else has been Manhattan Island's tribe of Lenape Indians. Nice.

good trade for the Dolphins of course

however, there is more to it for the Saints. They signed Sproles for less than what Bush cost, and got some extra picks out of it. And of course Sproles fits their offense like a glove.

So in reality, the Dolphins gave marginal assets away for a free agent- they had no intention of resigning him.
WTF swapping 6th rounder we gave up our chance at next tom brady!?!!?!?!? JK this was great trade great job Ireland

that's great news. I could of sworn I read on here it was a 4th. Awesome job, Ireland!!!!!
Moral of the story: Don't believe everything you read. Most of it is gossip and rumor.

Re: Ireland getting Bush Every once in a while even a blind squirrel finds an acorn

that's the best trade since we got Manhatan from the indians for 24bucks

Ozzy rules!!

Wow, didn't even cost us a draft pick. I'm glad it's not a 4th rounder as rumored. Mickey Loomis should be a little smarter next time.

great trade, loved it when i found out about it, loved it in the season, even when we were 0-7 reggie showed some flashes, and love it more now seeing the trade terms. i guess Ireland is doing things better without any parcells help :).
