Texans are "seriously considering" letting Mario Williams walk

mario williams, like ive said before, will be a top priority for us. We need a pass rusher, we go after young talent more than any other team in free agency ie- dansby, burnett, bush, marshall, fasano, incognito, cam wake, randy starks.. jeff ireland has shown that he goes after young talent, and i will stand pat on us doing everything to get mario williams.

I doubt it happens. If Miami is going to make a run at Peyton Manning then they're going to get caught holding that money aside for Manning, waiting on him to mkae a decision too long to end up getting back in the running for other high priced guys like Mario Williams and Matt Flynn.

It's all very typical Jeff Ireland and reminds me why even though I'm very high on the Philbin hire, the Dolphins still likely will not be a team that competes at the highest levels until Jeff Ireland is ousted.

i dont know how this makes any sense? when has he ever done any of this with free agents? He gave up on ahmad bradshaw fast and went after reggie bush. He went after brandon marshall after his interview with dez bryant. he never gets caught up on one person, and goes after who he wants while looking for another option. Stephen Ross has been the one that goes after what he wants but ireland is always looking for options.

This isnt speilman, or cam cameron. i know people dont like jeff ireland but come on.. lol

oh, and if miami can get a YOUNGER pass rusher in mario williams believe you me they would drop wake before mario williams. Mario Williams is worth more money than cameron wake people.

The past 3 seasons he's had one type of injury or another which has caused him to miss games and limited his effectiveness. If you guys want a pass rusher you'd be better off going after Avril.

I think there were rumors of a trade for him like 2 years ago.. that wouldve looked like a great move now
