Another great opportunity to see our franchise QB in action at the college level. Enjoy!

It really is unbelievable, it's almost like ESPN purposely pulled put Tanny's lowlight reel for these top 25 games... Must be that media bias that everybody is talking about.

I watched this game live during the season, and I knew that Tannehill didn't play well. This game was one of the reasons I have always pointed to as to why I didn't want him at #8. But now, upon watching the game on the DVR and studying every single A&M offensive play closely, I'm realizing that Tannehill didn't have the game that I originally thought he had.... It's even worse than I thought.
First of all, I'm sick of hearing about how Tannehill had no help last year. He had a very good running game, and Gray/ Michael absolutely shredded Arkansas in this game. He also had a very solid (but not great) receiving corps. Swope was an animal all year, Nwachukwu was a very good 3rd option, and while Fuller had his drops he still was good and he made a lot of plays with his size and athleticism that most receivers can't make.
Anyway, what essentially happened in this game is that (outside of one brutal interception) Tannehill played pretty well in the first half and A&M put up 35 pts before halftime... They finished with 38.
See, while Tanny's running game and his defense was controlling the game he looked solid, but in the second half when Arkansas started scoring and the A&M running game wasn't as dominant, the kid was a complete no show and he totally failed to put points on the board. Worst of all, Tannehill got the ball down by 4 with 1:40 left in the game with a chance to go win the game and look what he did with that opportunity. 4 AND OUT. Two badly thrown short passes behind Swope, an 8 yard scramble and a 4th and 2 run that was stopped at the LOS. PITIFUL. It really makes me sick how evaluators fall in love with pure physical tools, yet completely forget what players did in actual football games. After re watching this effort by Tannehill, I cannot FATHOM how he was a first round pick.
Like I've been saying all along, the best case scenario for Tannehill is to be a Hasselbeck or Garcia type of QB. Pretty good, athletic west coast qb that can win some games with a lot of help, but you DON'T want to ask him to carry your team and you certainly don't want to draft him 8th overall. Want to ask me why I want Matt Barkley? Go watch this game.

I guess that's why you should watch good games and bad games when deciding. It'd be easy to say so and so will never amount to anything if I only pick the worst games to review.

There was more bad than good with him last year. He lost almost every big game he played in and most of it was his fault.

Lol. He won't get a fair shot from the fans ... Gotta love the professional armchair talent evaluators/ self loathing fans.

I guess we should cut him now and cut our loses. Pathetic.

Go watch the Baylor game. The Kansas game. The Iowa State game. Give the Barkley talk a rest, it is not happening. Tannehill is the guy the team is going to build around and one game against Arkansas doesn't define who he is or what he projects to. A lot more goes into evaluating a quarterback prospect.

You are proving my point for me. He looked great against inferior competition and bad defenses, but played piss poor in big situations against decent teams. Awe inspiring.

I want to make it clear that I like Tannehill and I'm rooting for him but when you watch his games some disturbing things pop up. He makes some really stupid decisions sometimes.

He had the chance to win the game at the end and choked.
That's an easy thing to say.
A&M had a 35-17 halftime lead and the defense gets no blame for the loss?
Someone could also say the defense had a chance to stop them and they choked
