Thank God The Ireland Bashing Will Stop For 7 Days..

I don't think a GM could do much worse than Ireland over six years.

I understand Ireland criticism - he's far from perfect. Having said that, you've been around long enough to know that one game - even a Super Bowl win- wouldn't silence the Ireland haters.[/QUOT
Amazing how all the people on Ireland's payroll always find ways to defend him. Or maybe you are a relative.

we dont have to find anything. its all right in front of you for you to disect.

Charles Clay. 6th rounder. Tulsa.

Ireland is amazing...a HOF GM...the archon of talent procurement...NOT!

I still think he has to go. If you believe the report that it was Ireland who overruled Philbin about cutting Incognito after the golf incident, and I do, we would never have had the media embarrassment that we went through. Plus that would have forced Ireland to at least attempt to fix the o-line before the season started instead of ignoring it.

so he overruled and the guy ends up in the probowl. the league helped in the deal.

Who the **** cares about the Pro Bowl? It's no coincidence that the line started playing better after Incognito and Martin left.

Ireland has done better the last 2 years, but I am willing to let Tony Dungy run the team and hire another GM to finish the job with Philbin.
Ireland creates a hole and fills that hole with lesser talent. The team will never be complete with him running the show.
