Thank You Daniel Snyder , Browns, Vikings, Jaguars, Cowboys & Buccaneers

Don't sell Wilson short (no pun intended). Kid is a player, unbelievable athlete and very quick thinker under pressure. He did come into the draft with more experience than any other QB so he got a substantial head start. I think he had something like 47 starts in college between NC State and Wisconsin but durability will be a concern with him especially if he keeps running like he does. As long as Wilson has that ridiculous defense and a powerful running game he will continue to be looked upon as the top of the 2012 draft class at QB, even ahead of Luck. Luck has had to do it without a running game like Tannehill and when Luck lost his Hall of Fame WR Reggie Wayne he really struggled. Tannehill has already had to endure an inadequate WR corp, no running game and crappy pass blocking and he's still improving despite the shortcomings around him.

I've been angry about the situation we put Tannehill in but he's continued to improve despite the inadequate WR corp his rookie year and the lack of an O-line and legitimate running game this year. Even when he's been setup to fail he's succeeding. The real shame is that only now are some fans starting to realize just how good Tannehill can be.

Bingo...we have a winner. Excellent comments, I agree 100% :-)

I think Russell Wilson is a good young QB. I think he will be very good over the long haul.

I also think he is almost as overrated right now as Griffin was last season.

We'll see. I could certainly be wrong, but when I watch the Seahawks play, I do not see the QB driving that bus. Maybe I have just caught all the wrong games?

He stopped turning the ball over.

He stopped fumbling.

He stopped taking so many sacks.

His protection improved a bit.

He took advantage of improved protection and started moving better within the pocket and out of it when necessary.

He held on to the ball when he did get hit.

He cut back on the amount of horrible INTs.

He made better decisions on where to throw.

Basically, he started playing A LOT better than he had been. Now lets see him continue doing so.

It KILLS me when people say that RT "takes" sacks... and other QBs "are being" sacked.

Anytime someone says that RT "takes" sacks -- WITH THIS FREEKIN' BROKEN CONDOM OF AN OL -- and still passive-aggressively places the blame on RT, no way. I will not let it stand. A person loses football credibility big time, if they blame RT for sacks that highest level QBs like Brady take behind way better OLs. NO freekin' way.

Snap out of it, WV. It's time to quit blaming RT for the insanely bad OL play in front of him. Even a moderate improvement in the OL has allowed him to show his skills.

btw, thanks, WildBill, for the broken condom metaphor on the OL, lol.

the football gods were with us finally...that's for sure...i guess they felt like we suffered enough

til he starts losing postseason games he will...people don't take kindly to favorites going out...not that i foresee that for seattle...going there is a death sentence...got a much better shot against them in new york and the bowl...

2012 has been was a really good draft for us
1st Tan the Man
3rd Olivier Vernon
4th Lamar Miller
7th Rishard Matthews.
we also hab TERRIBLE picks like Jonathan Martin in the 2nd rd and Michael Egnew in the 3rd rd

Ireland should outsource rounds 2 and 3 to another GM going forward...

Missing at the top of the draft is bad but if you get 4 out of 8 to be significant contributors that's pretty good...Ireland's best draft. Tannehill and Vernon could be cornerstone type players...even though I always thought Vernon was more of a tweener and would have been a terror as a 3-4 OLB. Miller may be better suited as a change of pace guy, he just goes down to easy on contact and doesn't show enough balance but he's still a homerun threat. Rishard Matthews I can see working his way up to a #2 WR spot someday.

Martin was obviously an awful pick, Egnew has at least become serviceable, Josh Kaddu (could have had Marvin Jones who I wanted badly) and BJ Cunningham were bad picks. Still league average is about 25-30% success rate on draft picks in any one year.

or just throw darts at the big board in those rounds.

Or how about a public poll? Let the Dolphin fans decide those rounds, that we he could never be criticized for missing in those rounds ever again, lol

We may have done alright not Sucking for Luck.
