Thank You Daniel Snyder , Browns, Vikings, Jaguars, Cowboys & Buccaneers

... and thanks Ireland for jumping in when you did because from a bunch of reports, it also looks like both Seattle and KC were waiting in the wings to grab him too.

When it fit their narrative he was a reach. "Look at me now"

We may have done alright not Sucking for Luck.

Booyah..

Don't drop the ball on Egnew just yet...

Kaddu and Cunningham were projects our 53 man roster didn't allow us to follow up on but it wouldn't surprise me if they worked their way back into some other teams 53... Kaddu currently is still in ours or have we cut him again?

He stopped turning the ball over.

He stopped fumbling.

He stopped taking so many sacks.

His protection improved a bit.

He took advantage of improved protection and started moving better within the pocket and out of it when necessary.

He held on to the ball when he did get hit.

He cut back on the amount of horrible INTs.

He made better decisions on where to throw.

Basically, he started playing A LOT better than he had been. Now lets see him continue doing so.

Glad you are no GM. You would quit on every single QB in this league. Every QB, especially young, has some bumps in the road. Instead of giving him the necessary time to fix his mistakes and improve his play, you casted him off faster than all get out.

So you, sir, are not welcome to speak highly of the same QB that you wanted to cut just weeks prior.

Wait a minute, Skip Bayless is that you?

Seriously bro. I was with you when it was me and you against the forum with Henne but not now not ever with Tanny.

And all those people who think that Wilson is a better QB than Tannehill. Not so fast.

RT is a better QB right now (makes throws that Wilson can't; not limited like Wilson in pocket) and has a better classic pro upside.

People are starting to see what some of us were telling them all along. Hard for some people to see any direction except backwards, when it comes to talent.

LD

Amen!

I do agree though, that RGIII was the product of a system and he cannot carry a team on his own. To add to that, RGIII needs to recognize he is no longer the best athlete on a team or the field. This is not college, you dont tuck and run and become the hero every play, every game.

You could substitute Tebow for Bob and not miss a beat. :chuckle:

Be easy on wv... Tannehill has only outplayed his boy matt ryan this year, in only his second season. Coming up with Tds in the Redzone where Matt Ryan can't.

Well Cunningham isn't even with our organization anymore so I'd count him out. Though I understood the thought process behind drafting him, same as I could with Kaddu. (Cunningham a big bodied WR that in theory could be a redzone threat and a YAC threat, Kaddu a blitzing LB)

easy to say all this now. But AT THE TIME OF THE DRAFT, Ryan was a project and a bit of a reach. All you can do is put yourself back in that time. Ryan didn't have much of a body of work and the only people that really knew him were Sherman and Philbin.

Having seen Tannehill play most of his college games, I saw he had abilities to be an NFL QB. I started mentioning Tannehill in the Draft forum, from the get go during his senior season at Texas A&M. I'm just glad Ireland passed on Matt Flynn and took Tannehill with the 8th pick. During the draft process after his last season in college; almost every Draft Report/Analysis of Tannehill read virtually the same way. Everyone knew he was a raw prospect with tremendous upside. When Philbin was hired and he brought in Sherman as the OC, you knew Tannehill would be on the Radar Immediately. I'm happy RGIII was the media darling at the time and blinded the teams in front of Miami to the point were it left Tannehill somewhat over looked. Both KC and Seattle, had him in their sights, picking just behind Miami at the time. When teams were denied access to Sherman prior to the draft, it seemed a sure bet Miami was going to draft him. IMHO Tannehill did more with less in 2012 and has matured in 2013 with a better surrounding cast of players. The sky is still the limit for RT, because he's still growing as an NFL QB. Time was on both Tannehill's and Miami's side, it was just a matter of how quickly he developed for Miami as a whole to take the next step in improvement. So yes I want to thank all of the teams picking before Miami for not taking him, as well as, KC and Seattle for not trading up to select him. He's Miami's future and with Tannehill behind center, Miami's future looks very bright.
