The benefit of landing Manning*

:lol2: I think your fooling yourself. Is that why Miami continues to beat your team more then lose to them. If Miami gets a QB (A position the Jets still really don't have), Miami will be far ahead of the Jets.

2-2 is beating more than losing?

I hear it EVERY year, how Miami is better than the Jets everywhere and every year you finish behind us.

Don't be fooled next season when you have a weak o-line and are suddenly fist pumping for field goals.

we need OL help, if we can upgrade the RT we'll be fine on the OL. That was the biggest key to winning and losing this year

don't put the Jets down w/ the phins and Bills. The Jets are well ahead of those 2 teams, don't be fooled by one down season at 8-8- a record a Bills fan would kill for.

 That's why Jests fans are crying in their beers over another Pats-Giants Super Bowl and pinning their hopes on outbidding the Fins for a 36-year-old QB with a bad neck!

You can be as delusional as you want to be, but it's NOT the Bills or Fins players dissing their QB in the huddle or the lockerroom. :D Newbies to the non-playoff tier have to go to the end of the line so they can get accustomed to the view.

Actually it's 4-2 since Rexy arrived, 5-3 since Sparano. Can't spin away the facts...sorry

any knowledegabeable fan is not hoping we get Peyton manning. Are we annoyed w/ Pats-Giants? of course but credit those teams for doing what they had to do. We are a year removed from being on the doorstep of the SB and we'll be back. As bad as it was we were 8-8, I have faith in rex to clean up the LR and I expect we'll be a playoff team again in 2012. We don't need major changes like the 2 teams below us in the division.

Also, if Henne does leave Miami for the Jets, I guess you will get better at starting QB, but it still will not be even close to enough if Miami finds themselves a franchise QB.

You realize it is the difference of one game, right? You had one sweep in 2009 where you beat us by a combined 9 pts.

In the 5 wins since 2008 Miami has beaten us by a combined 22 pts, in our 3 wins we have beaten Miami by a combined 32 pts.

You guys can crow about beating us in meaningless matchups but the last 3 years we have won 8 more reg season games than Miami and 12 more games inclduing postseason. We have been better by a fairly wide margin.l

he'd be a good backup just like Matt Moore is.

No, just a few O-linemen, another starting RB, a better QB, better safety, a better O-LB, and better/Younger I-LB. Come to think of it, your team seems to need more then Miami...WOW!!!

Whatever man. Your defense is not what it was even 2 years ago and your offense is so bad that Rex hired OUR fired coaches to improve it ... At some point even the homiest of homers has to start to see that Rex Ryan isn't an HC, he is a loud-mouthed toe-sucking cheerleader. Even if you don't, eventually the players will see through his blustering "I guarantee we'll win the Super Bowl" big talk (if they haven't already) and realize he is just a giant man-baby shaking his rattle.

That's why it would make sense to go to the Jets where he would start from day 1.

he'd have as good of a chance to start here as Miami has had of making the playoffs the last few years.

we hired your fired HEAD COACH not OC. By the way, did you know that both HCs in the SB got fired as HCs once. True story.

Our D took a step back but when you have the pieces we have to build around and the coaching a top tier D isn't far away. Not some fake top D that can play when you are out of the playoff race, one that can help your team get to and win in postseason.

...Or the Jets reaching a SB since 1969? No, I think if Henne goes to the Jets and is allowed to compete (Sparano is the OC, so he would compete), Sanchez would have plenty of time to eat Hot dogs or text high school girls from the sideline once the season started.
