IMO its the fact that neither Gus nor AJ got picked off. Berlin got picked off but he really doesnt count as a QB since he wont make the team. Hopfully UM will start producing good QBs soon because the last 2 blow now. OK Berlin was a SemiGator and a SemiCane so I shouldnt blast UM for that.

competent QB production
OL generally "OK" on pass blocking
Special teams very, very good
For the most part - Run D pretty decent, esp 1 v. 1
Good job WR from Chambers, Boston, Gilmore, Welker

Feeley and Frerotte made some good throws, Feeley didnt get much done cuz well he was under pressure and that one ball should have been caught by DT

best bright spot?

WES WELKER. I just love it. The game doesn't matter, but he treats every shot he gets a return like a gift from god.

I thought it was the lack of big injuries

:yeahthat: I am very pleased with that. That's the only reason I dislike so many preseason games. I hate seeing season ending injuries in meaningless games. Actually I hate seeing season ending injuries period but, even more so in meaningless games.

best?

I liked how Gus and the WR looked.

It is tough to watch a week of Marino highlights and then watch our team as it was yesterday.

You know what? I thought brock looked pretty good untill that last throw. I say we keep him on the team and send him to NFL Europe for a few years, and see how he progresses

Lorenzo Diamond impressed. Wasnt paying attention to him all preseason. Thought all the QBs did well overall. The rbs had nothing to run through so it was tough to judge. The receivers, other than Thompson, played well. The o-line got better in the 2nd qtr after the coaching staff made adjustments. The secondary stunk. The dline i was hoping would be better but its early and the lbs were decent

Boston and the amount of bltizing. I know the consensus view is that the blitzing worked against us but it's good to see something different. Boston showed to be very strong and quick on a few plays, hope he stays healthy and can help us win games this year.

the good thing about blitzing is, you keep attacking, somethings gotta give.
