Also, stop being a journalist and putting words into my mouth, I only just said the Bengals game was an off day for them, not all the other wins (the Indy road win was impressive, if not for Grimes stopping their comeback endzone momentum) - but I suppose you only watched the overtime safety or refuse to acknowledge the rest of the Bengals game. Some great individual performances yes, but lets not kid ourselves here or give false hope, this is currently no dynasty team so why do you put so much expectation on them.

Wait..so much expectation? Dynasty? Prone to hyperbole?

What I disagree with is your belief we didnt win the Cincinnati game, Cinci lost it. Nothing I have seen this season suggests Miami can't beat Carolina. In fact, our play suggests it will come down to the end of the game. We arent a dominant team that will beat them by multiple touchdowns, but we are a team that will play any team in the NFL tough, and have an opportunity to win at the end.

The lowly bills came to town too and we didn't beat them. We also visited the lowly bucs and they beat us. You just never know what our team will do. The Dolphins get a nice win just to lay an egg the next week.

Any given sunday and all that.

I felt we scrapped through against the Bengals, who under performed. I'll think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Obviously I'm hoping for T-Hill to have a career day, with no turnovers, Wallace to light it up & our D to stuff Newton & Smith - but its currently more hope than our track record suggests.

It could be that they underperformed because we stopped them, now could it.. That would be waaaaay to far from the realm of reality huh? :crazy:
 
We beat horses,we beat dogs,and we beat cats 2 weeks ago,so we can handle bullying more kitty cats.:ko:
 
One thing we absolutely cannot do is let their D score. They do that and I will put it as a game over. Tanne needs to manage the hell out of that ball

So tired of people talking about false hope. Thinking we can beat the Panthers is false hope? Most "optimistic" fans, if not all, aren't trying to make us some juggernaut that's on the up and up. Speaking for myself, I just want to see how everything goes, see how the season plays out. I was just as shocked that we beat the Bengals as I was when we lost to the Bucs. But I feel fans like you expect the worst and harp on the negatives, even after a win. And then, you blame it on past years making y'all bitter and pessimistic. Get over it. Years past have little bearing on what's going on now.

no one said if we beat the Panthers we're a dynasty, apart from yourself. I implied if we were a current dynasty team we would then be expected to beat the Panthers.

I think you're tired of people talking about false hope simply because that's what a lot of people have mentioned & experienced - there's no smoke without fire. I admire your optimism, but there's a reason why Sun Life Stadium hasn't been packed these past few years - yes you've guessed it mediocre teams and of course its going to have an effect on fans. So your comment on getting over it 'ya'll' is fairly childish & misguided. Everyone should have a right to go on the positives, as well as the negatives - this isn't North Korea.

If we beat the Panthers I'll harp on about the positives - but maybe you'll get tired of it. ;)
