The case for Vince Young

there's not enough space on this forum for the case against vince young...

What do the Dolphins have that's better than a 31-19 W/L record, a 98.6 passer rating his last season as a starter, and 2 Pro Bowls?

If you objectively stack up the pros and cons, VY is a better option than Moore or Henne.

Jay Fiedler was awesome. Check out his winning percentage as a starter!

I put Vince Young in the same basket as Tebow... Except that Tebow has heart...

dude he will never leave the dream team. 2nd he ****ing blows. 3rd wvu will merk ut when they join the big 12.

What part is wrong? Im honestly wondering your justification. BCS's job is to make money and produce one....ONE champion. If there were no BCS, the SEC would still produce the strongest teams, the strongest week to week competition, and as evidenced by the year in year out domination of the SEC vs other schools in the bowl games, and the last what 7 National Championships?

I have no Bias, just for the record. I attend Florida State University, so we can avoid that aspect, and don't know how the system that is implemented right now has an effect on which teams are the consistently strong each year.

For one, the only SEC school with more championships than Texas is Alabama. Secondly your point is that national championships are the only games that truly matter. Well schools get ****ed all the time because the of the BCS. You can't say that whoever is #1, if theyre an SEC school, would beat a certain team because that other team wouldnt even get the chance to play them. You can point to the recent Oregon vs. Auburn game, where that SEC school beat the PAC team by 3 points..but the truth of the matter is, until theres a playoff system, the championship game isnt the only bowl game that matters. Maybe Alabama and LSU were the best teams this year, but to say another top 10 team couldnt have beat them if given the opportunity is idiotic. I never said that the BCS had an effect on which teams are strong each year so I wont address that statement.

Its a bummer the mountaineers are joining the Big 12 while were still here because they make the conference look weaker.

The point isnt to say the top 2 teams cant be beaten by anyone else (although that appeared to be the case this year). Its merely getting a game vs the top 2 teams. The only year I can recall anyone being screwed is back when USC throttled Oklahoma and Auburn didnt get a shot. The BCS has pretty much nailed it the other years.

the case for vince young? he blows.

the guy was only solid at the early stages of his career because of his legs, but now it seems like he does not even use his legs as much. hes worthless in the nfl now.

Young is terrible. And enough of this "two-time Pro Bowler" talk. He was an alternate who got to play in 2007 due to Philip Rivers' injury and was the 4th alternate in 2010 when Peyton Manning (Super Bowl Participant), Philip Rivers (injured), Tom Brady (injured), Ben Roethlisberger (injury) and Carson Plamer (injury) could not play.

VY sucks. Can you imagine what'd happen if Marshall yelled at him? We'd probably find him dead the next day.
