Ireland has had enough time for evaluation, they don't seem to have a problem in Pitt, Green Bay, Dallas, Denver, etc...with the GM and head coaching turnover, **** Jerry Jones goes through head coaches faster than underwear and they seem to make the playoffs rather constantly.
Jeff Ireland lacks those dare to be great moments, Green Bay took a Chance and move Brett out the door in lue of Rogers, Elway seems to be willing to risk it on a gamble, Pitt moved Cower out the door. I mean a great GM uses whatever means necessary to build a winning team and doesn't stick solely to his equations and formulas for risk/reward verse cost.
Ireland is a victim of his own practices and lacks that "all in" moment mentality that makes certain NFL GM's great.
