The D this season was the biggest disappointment IMO

How many times was our D gutted in the run game?
How many times when our O would squeak out a lead,to watch the D,on the next drive tie or take the lead.
How many other teams linebackers got run over for a TD by Geno Smith?

that seemed like it was almost on a gamely basis...so disheartening...the o which we all knew was a work in progress puts a drive together and scores and the d just gives it right damn back...the part that was suppose to carry us

if tannehill hadn't gotten the team in scoring position on last gasp drives in some of those games we'd be a 5 win football team pretty much...

no one gave a late lead back to the opposition like our defense

This defense was most definitely a disappointment as many thought it would be one of the better in the league. The offense was still the bigger issue which is why I think sometimes the defense gets a pass. 7 points in 8 quarters is the first problem that needs to be addressed. We would have a hard time winning with the 2000 Ravens or 1985 Bears defenses with that kind of putrid offensive production.

Crazy how much we missed Dansby. The guy was over paid, but he sure did stop the run.

dansby played thru a torn bicep a lot of 2012 for us...that takes guts could have hung em up...he looks leaner and in better shape this year in zona for sure...instincts with him and burnett were never a problem

The D wasn't awful. The pass defense was good for the most part and the run defense was bad. I would say our defense was pretty decent.

It certainly wasn't great like some are making it out to be, but offense was the bigger problem for the most part.

According to NFL.com we had the 21st ranked D & was 24th against the run & 16th against the pass.

I'm sorry with the pro bowl caliber guys on our the D line & the $ spent on LB's being ranked 24th is awful. I'll give it to you on pass D maybe not awful but when we needed a stop or an INT there were MANY times we didn't make a stop.

It isn't a mystery. It was Coyle who specializes in the secondary but SUCKS with everything else.

We all knew the offense would be a work in progress..2nd yr QB,new receiver,new LT..
Then injuries hit...Keller,,,that was a tuff lose...then the Martin/Incognito farce...
The offense did stink...I just feel they had some excuses.
The Defense didn't have excuses...look at the money and draft choices put into it.
The D WAY under performed..Thats all...I'm not giving the O pass...We just need more out of our D.
