The Day After...

I feel sick to my stomach that got so close to the playoffs and failed (miserably) to get in. But you know what? We weren't, in reality guys, a true playoff team. So, really, it wouldn't of matter if we got in or not, we are not a playoff caliber team - this year anyway. With that said I surely am convinced that our offensive coordinator must get canned.

Our Dolphins will be much improved (they better be in the playoffs next season) come 2014/15. We'll be ready sooner rather than later. Being bitter will result in anything. With a new offensive coordinator and, if we play our cards right, a much improved o-line (overhaul), we may even get the division title next year: remember how well we played them in game two.

So take a chill pill, sit back and erase all the negativity... It won't change a single thing.

Yeah dude, no offense but you are beating a dead horse with that talk here. I'm not one for making changes when things are starting to look good but we are far from it from a coaching standpoint.

I feel fine because I seen it coming.

Enjoyed a nice lunch outing with associates earlier.

Grabbed a quiet dinner out and then coming home to couch retreat.

Great day.

Dude...this team is a train wreck...they suck 7 points in two games with everything on the line= horse****

If that's the only major change next year then we'll be no better than 7-9 or 8-8. Blaming this all on the coordinator is so far beyond preposterous I wouldn't know where to begin. But you don't even have to take my word for it, last time we replaced the o coordinator, you know the year before Philbin we started out 0-7 and finished 6-10.

If people keep thinking the problem is simply a coordinator, and don't cut the rot out at the core, we'll end up with the same exact results.

Not just him of course. I never stated just him. Many things will need to change.

next year, always ****ing next year, Ive been rooting for these ***** since 1970....how long do i have to wait

I will ALWAYS believe. I love my Dolphins and I will NEVER quit on them regardless how many years have elapsed.

Possible the team will be better, but that depends on the following:

1. Ryan Tannehill takes a big step forward
2. Offensive Line is fixed, or at least, is serviceable for an NFL ballclub
3. We actually run the ****ing football
4. Defense does not regress significantly

I'm not optimistic that we will get all 4 of those things.

Let me say this you are wrong about us not being a playoff caliber team , we beat chargers, steelers , colts , bengals and the Pats and was in 4 or 5 other games that came down to 3-7 points , IMO we have the players to be a playoff Team , it was the coaching that was the problem the play calling and the coaching, The coach we have dosent motivate the players , and the play calling is inconsistant we beat some pretty damn good teams this year , but when it came down to crunch time ? No motivation , no consistance and the wrong plays being called ,these guys , to me just isnt coaching material .

I'm glad the Dolphins spared us of stinking up the playoffs. And saved the dolphins further embarrassment. Miami would lose by over 40 pts at cincy, i dont care what happened earlier, in the playoffs teams raise their games 2 notches and the gameplanning goes much deeper, Cinci would have annihilated miami something like 50-7 playing at home where they've been dominant

Every dolphin fan should be happy that miami avoided the playoffs so more eyeballs won't see how crappy this team really is in front of larger audiences

I felt down today. I really expected to beat the Jets, even though I suspected they would play better than the first meeting.

But in a sense I'm glad we got rid of the false impressions. We were a heck of a lot closer to finishing 6 games behind the Patriots than actually winning the division. If Amendola doesn't drop that pass on first down in the right corner of the end zone, we finish with 7 wins to New England's 13. I don't like adjustments but that one is fairly basic and requires much less of a shift than the typical alteration around here.
