The Dolphin Backup Qb situation.

Comp % is not a true measure of accuracy.

Didn't you watch him play when he was a Dolphin?

How many times did we see him complete a pass but force the receiver to slow down and wait for the ball, or reach back for it?

He wasted so many yards doing that, it used to infuriate me.

McD's Passing Offense is based on hitting guys on the move so they can run after the catch.

Ni stats you can dig up will show that RT is good at that.
Sorry, but you are not correct on your opinion of Tannehill, especially if you extend it beyond his time in Miami with a sub par supporting cast around him. Here is just one article disputing you. There are others.

From the article (note, these stats are not based on completion %, they are based on ACCURACY of the throw)

Finheaven like Tannehill more than when he was a Dolphin it seems.

I do wonder if he’d be willing to come back here. The guy made nearly $200 million in his career. Part of me imagines him saying “You want me to play backup in Miami for $3mm? **** that. I’ll make that much in interest this year.”
I don’t think it’s about the money anymore. He can win a championship in Miami. It’s why vets like Poyer and Campbell are signing for less in Miami.

He doesn’t know WTH he’s talking about. RT would be a GREAT pickup for Mia.

Yeah accuracy wasn't a problem for Ryan. I'd say his delivery wasn't really diversified... He liked to use a 3 iron alot....

Didn't throw with a ton of arm angles and was slow to pull the ball down and move off the spot. He does not deal with a terrible OL very well because of those issues. Give him a decent OL and he can be effective. Not sure he is a fit for our scheme but then again, I'm not sure White and Thompson are either.

Wait. Skylar and Mike are playing with people who could be bagging groceries at the end of camp.

Yup end thread :)

This is the fastest offense in the game and I don’t mean because we have fast players

I really hope that’s what drives him.
I think he’s set for life financially. He’s probably looking for a starting gig but that’s not happening unless someone goes down preseason. Wouldn’t be shocked to hear that we’ve reached out to his agent but he’s weighing his options. He would be a phenomenal pickup IMO as an insurance policy. A lot of smoke online re this.
