i said the bills defense was better than the fins.. that is a fact.. they were number 2..

and the bills swept the fins last year.. they are better based on that..

BUT i also said that i think they are very similar and that they both have the same factors that will determine their fate...

i am compairing the team that picked 2nd overall in the draft to a team that should have been in the playoffs and finished 9-7, and could have very easily been 11-5. i dont see how that is saying the dolphins are anything but a decent team that have a bright future and could be a force THIS YEAR.

Your are giving a lot of UN-earned credit thanks Tat for being openminded..

The Bills special teams were one of the best in the league also, if not the best. I agree that the Bills going into last year are similar to the Phins going into this year. The Bills last year were a team that couldn't make the playoffs cause the Qb was not good enough, which maybe how the Phins end up. The Bills last year beat alot of bad teams, I think the Jets were the best team they beat, and I don't think the Phins will be as lucky to play that kinda schedule, but who knows. I think the Qb situations are thought to be similar cause neither Qb is proven, but I think thats where the similarities end. Losman will be the Bills Qb in '06, and Feeley may not be on the roster. The Bills actually could not open the offense as much as they would've liked to because of Bledsoe's lack of mobility, and I think that Losman will make the Bills offense better than last year. Also Jp has been in Buffalo all offseason and has been trying to step up as a leader of the Bills, calling meetings with veterans. Mularkey made Kordell look like a NFL Qb, so I think Losman is gonna be surprisingly good for the Bills this year.

I dont know if your a bills fan or fin fan DJ, but good post.

I think Bill Parcells said it best with regards to win-loss records, you are what you are.
