The Dolphins are candidates to trade up for TE Eric Ebron

I don't know if it's going to cost that much to move up compared to other years. Most people know this draft is very deep which may make 2nd & 3rd round picks more valuable. I could definitely see a scenario much like last year, with the Raiders, where a team desperate to trade back has to take whatever the best offer is.

We've heard several times Miami has interest in Ebron. But like another said, if were trading up of rather it be for Matthews. We land him and his offensive line is solidified for years to come. I'd be happy with Ebron too but I don't see the drop off between Ebron and other prospects to be as drastic as the tackles in this draft. Matthews would be a huge get.

In a deep draft, with as many needs as we have, we shouldn't be thinking about trading up and losing picks. There's plenty of talent in this draft and this team needs plenty of talent. If we were a team with very few needs, go for it. But we're not a team that's a player or two away from greatness so we shouldn't minimize our chances by giving away draft picks in a deep draft.
 
Ebron is very overrated. His RAC is his only special quality. Doesn't get a lot of separation, and he doesn't catch the ball well in traffic. Not on my list of guys I'm considering at 19.

So we finally have a tight end that teams are starting to game plan for and we trade up for a TE in the first round? hmmm...
 
i think hell freezes over b4 we trade up in a deep draft class like this one
