I wouldn't say he was irrelevant to the game because he did not make a lot of mistakes which definitely helped to win and he did move his team when needed.
I think the point the other person was trying to make is that we should have been able to force a third string qb into making a lot more mistakes.
I do agree that qb alone does not win ball games most of the time. He did outplay our starter those two games. Not a bash of Tannehill because Im still a believer that he will be a good qb.

He was pretty irrelevant, in two games against us he had no touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He was far from the reason we lost those games. Any quarterback can move his team from time to time, even guys like Brady Quinn and Weeden can have some success of drives. We lost because of mistakes on offense and the Bills defensive line, didn't matter who their quarterback was.

Sorry but I can't blame the OP and for those complaing about the thread.........40 YEARS ago was the last time we won a super bowl. Cut the guy some slack instead of cutting the team some slack.

Lazer and Xanders are not premier hires. Just listening to the Big O and he says it would be a disaster to get Xanders since he is not known as a good talent evaluator. I respect his opinion more than most journalists down here

He didn't make any game changing plays either. The Bills beat us because their defense dominated our offense, not because of what Thad Lewis did(or didn't do). The Bills didn't throw any touchdown passes against us with him at quarterback in either game, the best thing he did was hand the ball off. Didn't matter who started at quarterback for the Bills, the defense won those games and made the game changing plays. Lewis didn't sack Tannehill 7 times during the game in Buffalo.

I don't believe the journalists either, but if you listen to Big O and take his word for things you are one lost dude!
