The Dolphins should ban everyone who re-sold their tickets to Bills fans, from the stadium for 5 years.

817.36 Resale of tickets.—
(1) A person or entity that offers for resale or resells any ticket may charge only $1 above the admission price charged therefor by the original ticket seller of the ticket for the following transactions:
What does that have to do with revoking season tickets from holders?

Beyond that, entities like Ticketmaster, StubHub, etc couldn't care less who buys the tickets.

That's just Miami, man. It's a vibrant and flashy world down there, and there are a lot of rich implants that buy those season tickets as a novelty and will gladly re-sell at the right price without loyalty to the team. There's nothing you can do to really stop it, unless Dolphins fans buy the tickets first. Cities like Philly and Boston keep their opposing team's fans out by having an urgency and demand from locals to buy the tickets, which you unfortunately won't see as consistently in Miami due to the demographics of the city. The Dolphins have a large fan base, but I think it would be a very good guess to say the vast majority of their fans are spread throughout the country as opposed to being concentrated in one metropolitan area like most other teams. You can thank the 72' Team, Don Shula and Dan Marino for that.
Miami has the demand for tickets. The problem is we have two different Miami's.

1) The real Miami that can't afford paying their month's rent money to go to a game.
2) the transient miami in south beach, brickell, etc that makes everything like this more expensive for locals

Lower ticket prices for normal people and you will see the demand go up.

Imo you have to earn the fans trust to want to keep the tickets. If it comes down to a big game it’s a good chance you are going to make a few thousand dollars and not have to witness your team 💩the 🛏️ again

Maybe blame the franchise and challenge them to be better instead of blaming the fans. Turns out the ones who sold and didn't subject themselves to sitting through that pathetic loss were the smart ones.

Agreed and that's the issue. The rich implants drive up the cost of those tickets and treat them as nothing more than a novelty, then they sell them to tourists taking a vacation from places like Buffalo at a jacked up price. I'm not sure how you stop that unfortunately, because at the end of the day it's all about the money to these organizations.

Last night was a disgrace. Not even a real home game. Watching Josh Allen walk around waving thanks to his fans.... in Miami.

Every single person who resold their tickets to bills fans, should be banned for no less than 5 years from the stadium.

When someone tries to buy a ticket, ask them to pronounce the word "florida"... if it sounds like "flah-rih-dah" , kick them out
lmao at Flahridah

Is there a way to track who sells their tickets into the secondary market? The Dolphins should explore all options to address that.

That was an embarrassment last night. I am sure Garfinkel is working on it.

You are a lowlife if you decide to use football tickets as a way to make a laughably small amount of money. Totally sleazy. Go get a job. Unemployment is super low.

At least someone should experience joy at Dolphins home games in December and January.

Maaaaa'ah'aaan. If ticket sales were our problem I'd be so Goddamn grateful.

I've never been to a home Dolphins game, but have been to a few Oakland Raiders games and snuck out after a win before being beat to a pulp by the LOSER RAIDERS.
I worked in the bay area for way too long and when the team moved the stadium to Santa Clara it was about a mile away from my office. Would have loved to catch some ball but it was pretty obvious with the seat licensing and insane cash companies spent to impress clients made it a no-fing-way.
I've been to Miami once. I suspect it's kinda the same.
I was in KC a long time ago, home game for KC. Wanted to catch a game. No Go. 15 years ago and the tickets were even then obscene.

Getting rid of people who resell tickets? It might be their best source of income.

It was our biggest home game in I dont know how long and yet these season ticket holders decided they would rather sell their tickets than to go to the game and support the Dolphins is absolutely pathetic. Why did they even buy season tickets in the first place?

Can't see this issue ever going away regardless of how good the team gets. If I was a fan of another team and we were playing in miami late in the year? Hell yeah I'd use that opportunity for a nice weekend getaway out of the cold.

Just part of playing in warm weather surrounded by beaches.
