I would rather offer jack Del Rio a contract. He is the DC at Denver now. A good defensive mind. He is a disciplinarian and a good coach. This team needs stability with a strong coach since we have a feeble owner.
 
No. I don't want Cowher or Gruden. I want a great GM who we can trust to bring in the right players and hire a coach. Stop falling in love with the names.

I doubt that would be his role nor would I want it to be. When this surfaced a couple of weeks ago my thoughts ran parallel to yours. However, after thinking it through I am willing to bet this is what Ross does and I like the thought. It lends instant credibility to the organization. You'd think that Dan would have the knowledge to hire the right GM and then give that GM the space to rebuild the entire organization.

Dan has already stated he would like to get in to a front office. Ross needs a president and that should be his first hire. The more I consider it the more I am convinced this will be the route taken.
 
Nice we can go back to running on 1st, running on 2nd, check down on 3rd....

I'd pass on Bill Cowher, I'd be OK with Gruden,he still has a little fire in him. I'd like someone younger and someone with a fire in his belly.

I would too...especially after the way he was handled by the Bucs....he would come back with something to prove...

He actually played it dead solid perfect on HYPE & HYPE on the 4-letter this AM. (I'm stuck watching at at the gym) He refused to take the bait and said he was going to wait until all the facts came out before he was going to make up his mind.

Im kinda tired of all the Cohwer Gruden talk....Neither of which will probably ever coach again at the Pro level,

No! We have finally got a good defensive scheme & personnel that match. I do not want to see the phins devolve into that silly putzburgh style 3-4.

What about Chucky's bro in Cincy as HC?

Gruden would be my choice, either one. The OC from the Bengals or Chucky himself

He was never a GM either. What makes you think he could even assume the role?
