Precisely. How is AJ going to gain confidence, develop pocket awareness, learn how to look off receivers, and master Linehan's system in 3 weeks? Saban may take the attitude that this is a rebuilding year and let AJ develop, but I doubt it. Saban wants to win now and with our O-line that has to be Gus.
 
and gus was lucky in that last game. that throw to chambers and that TD pass were horrible throws.

you guys need to wait till more preseason games are played.

They may have looked horrible at first, review the gametape. They were terrible passes in the idea that they didn't hit the WR in the hands. But they were genius throws i nthe idea they didn't hit the DB in the hands. The WR caught them didn't they? This is what I like. Gus throws passes that might not get caught, but definately won't be near a defender. Feeley on the other hand tries to force it to the WR, only to get picked off... typically resulting in 6 points, the otherway.

That is the difference between an experienced QB who knows his talents and an unexperienced QB who thinks he can throw like Peyton Manning.
