Denver's humidity cannot compare with Miami's. Denver has never experienced dewpoint temperatures in the 70s! This is a daily occurrence in Miami in the late summer. Compare today's weather conditions:

Miami
High = 87
Low = 76
Dewpoint Temp = 74
Heat Index = 95

Denver
High = 78
Low = 56
Dewpoint Temp = 48
Heat Index = 78

Heat Index on Sunday is expected to be 100+.

I spent last summer in denver, it is just as hot if not hotter during the day. But at night it goes down to the 60-70's. The big difference is the moisture in the air. It gets muggy, and then its hard to breathe.

I'd take dry heat over wet heat any day of the week. The Miami area in the afternoon can be like trying to breath inside a bowl of hot water.

Not a difference...lol hahahahahahah

Wow, you people in Colorado have no clue as to what hot is...Every summer, I take a fastpitch girls softball team to Boulder to compete in a Collegiate Showcase tourney around July 4th. I keep hearing people there tell me how hot it is...LOL I agree that 80-90 degrees is hot for you guys there, but the whole time I am there, I do not even break a SWEAT! It's 80-90 and I don't even SWEAT!! I walk out the door here in So Florida at 9am and am sweating my A#@ off...

YOU HAVE NO CLUE MY FRIENDS!!! YOU NEED TO PRACTICE IN THIS HEAT AND HUMIDITY FOR WEEKS JUST TO ACCLIMATE YOUR BODY TO IT!

There is a reason all of our games are at 1pm, and before Wannstedt, we were almost unbeatable in September....GET A CLUE COLORADO FANS!! By the way, did I mention you are the luckiest people alive to enjoy those kinds of summers....

I highly doubt this will play any large factor. These are professional athletes we are talking about with professional coaches. THey will be hydrated and in shape. I remember two years ago we played the second week in Jax and the big "thing" was going to be our dark blue uniforms in the humidity and heat. I think the score ended up being 44-10? SO it played no factor.

We shall see though.

It does not always make a difference, but saying wheather/ humidity is not a factor is not something I thought I would ever hear from a bills fan! I have been to many games up there and it definately is an advantage for the Bills in December!:eek:

Hot or Cool...Just WIN...

Both Teams are playing in it and the Dolphins have lost the last 2 Home Openers...to Texans and Titans...
At Least we have a Coach now who will have his Team READY....
Go Dolphins!

There is a tropical storm not too far to the east which could be causing some problems..........

Dude, dont even mention that kind of stuff...I have got the Fins game on TV this week up here in Tampa and I dont want a repeat of last year when we got Tennis and some other junk instead because of the storms changing the schedule.

we aint lucky, our summer is literally on fire. half the state lights up, we need some rain

broncos looked very impressive n the heat when they played tampa last year

Tampa heat is not like Miami heat. I am telling you guys the only city that is hotter in Florida than Miami is Jacksonville.

JAX is the hottest place I have ever been to.

Yes, but miami has humidity alot worse then in colorado. That's what is gonna wear them down. Actually South Florida has the worst humidity in the united states.

I SERIOUSLY beg to differ.

You obviously have never been to New Orleans in July, have you?

Yeah its our annoying advantage, thats why I welcome it during football season, But I am happy as hell when it cools down later in the year and when it gets less humid.
