At least when it comes to playing in the AFC East with New England always in front, I honestly, truthfully, don't think Miami ever gets far in the playoffs as long as Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft are alive and still participating in the NFL.

43-22 right now over Indy with 7 minutes left to play. New England, without Vince Wilfork, Jerod Mayo, Sebastian Vollmer, Tommy Kelly, Rob Gronkowski, Josh Boyce, Brandon Spikes, and however many other guys play role, are still able to continue to beat the **** out of teams. Yeah Indy is without Reggie Wayne but the list above shows you that injuries happen.

LaGarrette Blount is now running like he's Terrell Davis for ****'s sake. Nevermind Buffalo and the Jets, 2 teams who will give Miami good competition, the New England Patriots seemingly will win the division and get to the AFC title game/Super Bowl for eternity.

It's bad enough we as fans have to see the same teams in the playoffs while Miami is out for the 5th straight time. I don't think it makes a difference who Miami's coaches are, who their GM is, who their players are. New England just can't be overcome.

Miami has enough struggles drafting starters let alone back up players. I believe that is why we are always going to look up at them. The value in our drafts is poor and hit and miss in the FA. Brady is still great but not at his prime so it is possible to keep him with pedestrian numbers and beat them.

Also need to evaluate all of Colt's injuries minus just Reggie Wayne. They actually have more players on IR than the patriots.

****ing Brady. 7 times in 12 yrs as a starter he's gone to AFC Championship game.

Hate the Pats, but **** gotta give them credit. Had to revamp their offensive schemes when their TE's go down and they have 1 reliable receiver in Edelman. They lose 2 defensive captains in Wilfork and Mayo. They still make it to the freakin AFC championship game. The difference is in coaching, talent evaluation and QB. Until the Dolphins, or any other AFC east team can match the Patriots at these positions, expect to keep being a bridesmaid.

how bout that rookie 2nd round pick with a sack and int...in a playoff game...man that must be nice to get something from a draft pick. and a 2nd rounder at that...

I don't think Indy's injuries make a difference. NE does this every year no matter who they face.

The division belongs to Tom Brady, no matter how much it sucks it's true. The good news is he's almost done, so soon he and Belichek will be retired and the division will be open to competition again.

That kid Collins played like an animal. He did everything, pressured then QB, made tackles at the line of scrimmage, and blanketed the TE all game. Dion Jordan didn't come close to influencing a regular season game like that, let alone a playoff game....talent evaluation baby!

We just beat them 4 weeks ago!

We play the Pats twice a year. So, if by your logic we can't win those games, we still have 14 other games that we can win.

Tom Brady is beatable and we already proved it. Our Defense wouldn't give up 40 points to those guys.

Indy only beat KC cuz of brutal injuries in that game. That D has now given up 84 pts in 2 games.
But, yeah, Miami is probably like the LA Rams of the 1980s looking up a Bill Walsh's juggernaut.
But I have wonder how Miami could have won that first game in NE this year. What margin do we have to close to avoid losses like that? Can Tannehill close that gap? Can our new OC be that much better? Can our new GM fix our O-line enough?
Philbin could be the ankle-weight here.

The Pats are beatable once in a while, every team drops a game here and there. The thing is, since we beat them they have kicked the EVER LOVING **** out of every team they've played. They're simply on another level, one this team hasn't seen since the 80s early 90s when Marino was in his prime.

The Dolphins just made NE angry, like bullets into Mongo (Blazing Saddles). Every year, Brady gets wiser, too.

No doubt, they seem to plug these guys into their system and not miss a beat. The game planning and game adjustments are second to none. I have franchise envy. If the Giants don't take them out in the last 2 Superbowls they would go down as the most dominant team in football.

Yeah by 4 points. NE is still in the title game so that game didn't mean anything to them.

They are everything you want to be as an NFL organization.

Miami is everything you don't want to be. Dumb owner, can't find a good coach, stupid GMs, circus in the media, have a hard time selling tickets, ect.
