KC is a good team but two things:
1. Their defense lucked into a bizarre situation in which they played 3rd string (not 2nd string, actual 3rd string) QBs like four weeks in a row.
2. They lost multiple starters to injuries in that Colts game. It was ugly to watch.
NE boasts mental intelligence unmatched in the the AFC for years....
KC showed they are mentally inferior and that they don't have "depth" -> their D scored TDs like every other week -> Charles was insane -> up by 28
Andy Reid showed himself to be the Andy Reid of the Eagles
Had Knile Davis played the whole game KC may have put the game away but they stopped playing to the whislte and to the end of the 4th Q.
Indy couldn't stop the run at any time frame throughout the year -> of course Bill was going to go after their Achilles - LUCK set up the Pats with 7 points off the hop -> it was classic "catch up" from that point on Luck was overwhlemed to begin with
Of course KC were mentally fragile and may have melted to the Pats anyways because Indy took advantage of KC in a huge way, at least we have learned the Pats are beatable in the reg season, now we need to field a team that can win in the state of NY and Boston when the weather is horrible, beacuse those teams don't mind the heat of FLA - it is no longer an advantage as it seemed to be 20 years ago when players didn't take as good of care of themselves in the offseason - today the players seemed scrutinized year round and fear their jobs that much more - seems weird because non guranteed contracts have been in place throughout the history of the NFL.
Talk about mental midgets -> 2 years ago the Pats came in and laid a whipping on us in FLA and our D was tired out, looking like they were gonna puke, and the Pats were rolling us with no-huddle - sure as damn Belichek new our guys were out of shape under Sparano to begin with
I think MIA is going to turn a corner on this with both Sparano and Ireland gone, we need youth who don't respect them and just play man up -
every man beat his man physically into the ground and you will beat the Patriots -> walk in their with fear and you will get the game handed to you
We need players regardless of what round they are drafted in, who believe in their abilty to beat down wear down and shut up the opposition regardless of the temperature
