If Posey is not named the starter for tomorrow & the rest of this damn frickin' series, then Pat Riley is the big puss. He needs to admit to himself and the rest of the world that Toine was a huge mistake, but it's not too late because Posey can be efficient against this team. He will get open looks of course, and his defense is key plus he does not turn the ball over unlike that turd (first time ever using that word; w00t!!) Walker.

1- Jason Williams/Gary Payton
2- Dwyane Wade/Derek Anderson
3- James Posey/Shandon Anderson
4- Udonis Haslem/Antoine Walker
5- Shaquille O'Neal/Alonzo Mourning

Go with that line-up, and stick to it! Actually, I wouldn't mind that puss Toine as the starting 4 for the series; Krstic's not an inside guy.

I have been saying that for a while now...

POSEY actually plays defense..and is feisty..he won't back down and NEVER quit..he is a gamer..

Gotta sick him on Vince..and PLEEEEZZZ....put Shandon on Vince if Posey gets into foul trouble....

People forget that Shandon Anderson was the guy that played Vince in the 4th quarter in last year's series...The guy can be a pest and hound Vince, foul him, and make his life miserable.

As an aside..Richard jefferson's injury is being described as a "Bone Bruise"...Bone bruises are much more serious than sprain's because of the pain involved. he is listed as "doubtful" for Wednesday..

The standard rest time for a bone bruise is 2 to 4 weeks...I think a needle and some pills will fix that time period.

We're In Trouble.....this Team Just Isnt That Good......im Gonna Fight To The End But We Are Not A Chamionship Team......we're Lucky If We Win This Series....we Have Too Many Flaws

Miami should win game 2 handily, it sounds like Richard Jefferson is out for the game. I'd be shocked if the Nets rushed him back; they've already accomplished their goal: stealing one in Miami.

As for Shaq and foul trouble, I said this before, and it bears repeating: as he ages, it's NOT going to get better. As guys age, they lose the necessary lateral quickness to play good defense and have to resort to fouls more. In this, Shaq is no different than most other centers in the twilight of their careers.

Yup would like that please:D . It'd be much better if it were section but any heat fan is fine lol.

WHY? The day I put that woman as my avatar will be the day I jump off the top of the AA...

If Miami does win the championship we will have no doubt had an extremely tough road

Bulls
Nets
Pistons
Spurs/Maverics

Those are some very good teams.

What I think would help is if we would keep the same squad together for more than a season...not say 'You guys couldnt win it you suck new players please step forwards, old guys go home'

If Carter had a bone bruise like Jefferson, is there any question at all that the diagnosis would be "out for the series"?

phunwin,

No such thing is occuring. He is getting in foul trouble due to OFFENSIVE FOULS. (BS ones at that). So your "I told you so" makes NO sense. But I do understand what you are saying.

In the Nets game, 4 out of his 5 fouls were offensive fouls.

In the Bulls series..he got into foul trouble in three games due to OFFENSIVE FOULS. (In 2 of the 3 he started the game with 2 Offensive fouls..the other game (4) he started with 2 Offensive fouls and 1 defensive foul)

it just made me so mad that the refs handed him his 27 point night..when he was a whining little girl all game because big bad posey is a bad man that was giving him boo boos...:boohoo:

I really like Kidd, Jefferson is one of my favorites, I think Krystic is an up and coming player, ..I even like Uncle Cliffy...But I CANNOT STAND Vince and that goof ball 7'1 280 pound flopmaster Collins...

He gets called for them because everytime he turns he brings that elbow up and sticks it out. If he used more of his post moves rather then power moves he'd be much better off.

That is true.

But you do realize that as long as he has two hands on the ball (he has)...THAT MOVE is LEGAL.

The first one was a real foul..the second one (that sat him down) was utter BS..

But you are right..SHAQ needs to be more careful and realize that they are watching him closer...

I meant in general that's what's going to happen, but point taken.

I can deal with Carter being a crybaby. Don't like it, but I can deal with it. And I can deal with a player not liking where he is and sulking. Don't like it, but I can deal with it.

But when you sign a MAX contract with a franchise that was built around you, openly start tanking games because you're unhappy, force the team to trade you in a deal that has already taken its place among the 10 worst in NBA history, and still act like a 14 year old girl to the point where refs offer you Midol during timeouts, well, you've earned my eternal contempt.

Yes it may be legal but to a ref it looks like a hard hit which they would call a foul. When a ref sees someone as big as shaq hit someone that is atleast 50 pounds lighter then him thier natural reaction is to call a foul and that's what there going to do. Is it right? no not at all but that's what the refs going to call.

Carter would sit 10 games out for a mild stomach ache he had two days ago.

He's a puss.
