Looks like maybe Walker fouled someone before the clock was dead!
 
Why, oh why, did Posey take that shot? It's okay. Posey rarely ever does anything wrong, so I don't mind it. I guess he was trying to get a foul called and a three, or possibly four point play.
 
Well that really sucks. Coincidentally, don't we have the same exact record through 17 games as we did last year? Only without Shaq. There's a bright side to look at.

Guys...there are three SURE things in this world.....

1. Death

2. Taxes

3. The heat will play and look flat in the second of a back to back.



They had no legs tonight....thus why we were in foul trouble....huge comeback to take the lead...and of all people......Earl "friggin" Boykins hits a three to beat us.....oh well....

They gotta beat the Clippers to stay on schedule....win out on the trip to get ahead of last year (gonna be tough....you know who is last on the trip)...

One thing on Stan.....he has to decide who plays on a given night.....Shandon Anderson or Jason Kapono.....playing both takes away from our three guard lineup...(Payton, J-Will, Wade).....and tonight...when he brought in Anderson...it looked like a stab in the dark...it was out of place...

It wasn't his responsibility to handle it...he just ended up with it and found the open man in Posey...Posey just freaked out that he was so wide open....he hesitated and Camby closed to contest the shot....it happens....

It was obvious that they used Wade as a decoy to set up a 3 pt. shot...problem was that Toine got the ball too SOON....

No matter...they got a good shot...Posey just didn't shoot it in the flow...if you noticed...when the ball rotated to Posey...all the Heaters crashed the boards....so that tells me that the design was for Posey or Toine to take a three to win....
 
@ Clippers tonight, 10:30 eastern time on Sun Sports. I'll be lucky to stay awake through the game, so I won't be posting post game comments tonight, maybe tomorrow. The Clippers are much improved this year, this is gonna be a tough game to win on the road. Let's hope we step it up.
 
Quicksand again....Wade was Wade...(you can always count on him)...J-Will played okay...17 points 9 assists....ZO had a nice game with 17 points 12 rebounds and 4 blocks...

Now the bad...

Posey was playing hurt and played ....okay...

Haslem sucked bigtime...Toine was a disaster...and our whole bench was horrible....

We blew a 12 point lead of course....then traded buckets for two quarters...and then died in the 4th....99-89..

we shot like crap in the 4th...

Very interesting Stan Van Gundy strategy.....sits Simien for the game when he could have used his 6 fouls on Elton Brand....Doleac doesn't play....

Anderson has a nice little stint guarding Mobley and Cassel...and then of course...he sits him for the rest of the game....

next up...the Champs...YIKES....
 
Walker is crap. 0-10 from the field. Airballs the 3 near the end.

The only ones playing consistently are Wade,J-Dub, and Mourning. Posey is playing decent ball but he's injured. Shaq needs to come back ASAP.

I take that back, Walker is playing consistent too. Consistently bad. :nono:
 
Wow, Walker was 0-10 from the field and 0-6 from the free throw line. That's beyond bad, that's embarassing :shakeno:
 
both stan and riley are very picky on who they bring in..they hate going past 7 maybe 8 players in a game..they need to adapt and start using players that may give them a spark..take toine out and insert simien or doleac..i mean come on
 
@ San Antonio. The refs are calling everything and anything on us so far.
