and we are the homers. And they have the logic. Yeah. That's it.

Were homers because were fans, and we want our team to win. I was told this earlier today. Because we protect our guys and stand up for them we are homers, unbelievable.

if you get fouled 13 times..you get 25 free throws.

How come you aren't talking about Dirk setting the record for free throw attempts in a post season? Afterall..he set that record in Game 4. (Broke Jordan's record)

It's easier for Dirk to do it without the 5-7-7 and the fact that he's played more games. Here's Jordans info that year. If I'm not mistaken it happened in 88-89

1989 -- defeated Cleveland, 3-2, first round
defeated New York, 4-2, conference semifinals
lost to Detroit, 4-2, conference finals

17 games in 1989 with 182 FT

Dirk's info follows
4 games vs. Memphis
7 games vs. San Antonio
6 games vs. Phoenix
5 games vs. Miami and counting

He broke it in 21 games. (Game 4)

This is like the whole Roger Maris/Babe Ruth home run debate where Maris had a few more games to break the single season record. Agree?

It's impossible to be a homer if your supporting your team. If you don't think thier the best (and they've certainly proved it with being in the finals) then your not a fan. That goes for any sport. If you admit (and it's not totally obvious)that another team or player is better then you certainly aren't a diehard fan of that team.

And all I'm talking about is free throw disparity, and the refs NOT being tainted or biased.

I'm not even saying show Wade the respect he deserves and commands.

So TWO more games is the only difference?

good point. i don't think the refs are doing him any favors, though, by sending him to the line on jump shots. when that guy finally figures out that he's 7 feet tall and can attack the basket AND shoot jump shots, he'll be hell to stop. he shows glimpses here and there, but, for now, he settles for difficult shots far too often.

I fully agree, he's gotta stop with the fall-away jumper crap

ok. add nowitzki in. it doesnt change anything about wade

yeah. the 4 game difference is notable

still, he goes to the line far too often for a guy who seems like he's allergic to penetrating the lane. good things happen when you're aggressive--at least that's what they say--and that's bearing out for wade. imagine if dirk played with that mentality. he'd be doing a lot of the same things, and he'd be getting to the line even more.

Look at Devin Harris' knee, and if you don't think it's a foul, then your LYING TO YOURSELF:
