from johnson's postgame comments, it sounded like he wanted them to go to the hoop. i have always assumed through this series that he wanted them to go to the hoop, since avery played for the spurs and all. it seems like stackhouse is the only one who even wants to do it consistently. howard did it a bit late tonight. i think the worst thing that happened to the mavs was having to beat the suns in the conf. finals. if that series and the semis had been reversed, they would have been more prepared for the heat. after winning a 6-game series with the suns that was primarily a jump shooting contest, they were in love with the jumper. jmho...
