Thanks man, good luck to your Sixers.

Believe me, if I could pick one player in the NBA to get a Championship right now after my Heat, it'd be Allen Iverson. As a fan, I'd be VERY upset if Iverson ends his career without a ring. True display of heart, and nobody has a bigger one in all of sports. I know you're not only a Sixers fan but an AI fan too, so I hope he gets a chance to get one with another team if not Philly.

Yeah, love A.I. But if he is going to win a title, it's going to have to be somewhere else. Sixers are in crappy hands with King, and while I love Mo Cheeks, he doesn't seem to be a great coach. How about trading him to Dallas for the rights to JT and Marquis Daniels? Believe A.I. would tone down his game to get a ring. Dallas could use someone with A.I.'s guts.

no you been exposed to Miami way of thinking for way to long. Start to belive, remeber its not over till the last seond of the last game played.

It's a little more than that.

I KNEW they were this good because of the makeup of the team.

Think of it.

Did the heat have any "SHY" players?

The Heat was loaded with players that have been asked to perform in the clutch before and have had plenty of big performances in their career's...

It always made me chcuckle when somebody would say that Toine was not a clutch player...

To me..a clutch player is one that is not afraid...one that isn't shy when the chips are down.

In game 6...in that 3rd quarter...Wade looked around and you can see him saying..."Hey guys...somebody help us bump this...so i can finish them off in the 4th...."

Toine said....no problem. And had an insane 3rd quarter...and it could have been better...he had two three's rim in and out...if not..he would have had a 16 point quarter in the close out game in the NBA finals.

His board work was insane...

Toine is just a delicate guy...he needs to be used JUST right for him to work for you..he is what he is...a pure scorer that is a very good post defender (he didn't have to defend anybody in the post all series) and a WONDERFUL defensive rebounder.

And you can't say enough about Posey..and Haslem.

This was a game 6 in the finals and Haslem was RUNNING to his spots and demanding the ball for his jumper...he could have cared less that he was in a shooting slump...he just said..."screw it..I am shooting." 17 and 10...nuff said. Compare that to some of the Mavs guys that looked like they were TRYING not to screw up.

As for Posey...how many big three's has he hit in these playoffs?

A ton.

It is always a good sign when a guy wears a mouth piece and he plays the 3 position. The high socks help.

I like AI as well and it'd be nice to see him get a championship.

I want Miami winning every year....so AI cant have one unless he comes here

White Chocolate can back him up.

Think they'll take a Doleac/Kapono package for him??

like the new sig?

i always stayed positive...optimistic thinking that if we won 3 at home we can pull this off.....but what wade and the rest ot this team showed me was incredible....hate to say this but without riley i dont think we win this.....riles was the xfactor on this team

he is great, make way for Wade. he is the top player in the NBA right now bar none. Kobe doesn't have his likability, Lebron sucks on D and doesn't have a ring, and nobody else can come even close to him

funny thing about that is I recall some guy calling 790 and talking to LeBartard and saying Riley will be the X-factor in this series (just after the Detroit series had closed). Dan of course scoffed that coaching is meaningless.

I disagree with that sentiment whole-heartedly. After games 1 & 2, I was worried Avery was a shrewd adjuster, and was defeating Riles on the coaching front.

Boy did he show me. Don't f with old men. Experience will knock you the fark out any/every day of the week.

agreed. I was just saying, let's bring in AI to play the point. I guess touches would be tougher for Wade to come by then though. Fun to think about though.

I got this from another message board:

I'm so sick of Dallas fans and players acting like they were robbed.

1. Dwayne Wade. You never came up with an answer for Dwayne Wade. Avery Johnson didn't make adjustments for him. He was the Heat's driving force. You should've double and even triple teamed him. But you didn't.

2. Phantom foul? Wade's last 2 free throws in game 5 were deserved. No, Dirk didn't foul him but Devin Harris did. The refs just called it on the wrong guy.

3. Dirk. Dirk failed to make a crucial free throw. His own fault. Also, he wasn't even the best performer on his team. Jason Terry was. If Dallas had won, Jason Terry would be the MVP, not Dirk. Dirk didn't come through. Wade always had the ball on the last shot. What'd Dirk do? He passed the ball to a stiff.

4. Timeout. Miami had nothing to do with you blowing your last timeout. Again, your own fault.

5. Role players. Miam's role players came through. Payton had timely shots. Haslem was big in game 6.

6. Stackhouse. Stackhouse didn't matter. You almost won with him and you almost won without him. You'd think after his suspension, he'd come back with a monster game. Nope.

7. Intensity. The only Dallas player with intensity was Jason Terry. Miami was very intense. From Wade to Alonzo to Walker to J Will. They wanted it more.

8. Free throw disparity. You PURPOSELY fouled Shaq down to the 2 minute mark. Even though he only made a few, he still had double-digit attempts. So don't whine about the free throw disparity when you're purposely fouling people because you'd rather have them shoot free throws than get a field goal attempt.

9. Pressure. Miami had more experience. Therefore, they handled the pressure better. Dallas seemed to buckle under pressure.

10. Aggressiveness. Miami was always driving to the basket. You had Dirk shooting jumpers and other players shooting 3's. Miami was more aggressive. Dallas was more passive.

You weren't robbed. You lost. Stop crying.

he would make this the best team in the NBA undoubtably, he's a team player and so is Wade and Shaq so it would work but it's a dream
