:shakeno:u were chanting mvp when the heat were losing:lol:

I think he just meant overall on the season.....I dont think you get the MVP award for one anyway

Oh well a loss is a loss, We need Jason Williams and Posey healthy

right but when your team is losing u dont chant mvp its common sense.

Good point

But if your making a comeback you might have an excuse to chant it, which I think we were at the time but im not sure exactly when he posted

And Zo!!

It was odd. I watched the entire game minus a few minutes early in the 3rd (fell asleep.....I'm zapped). And I didn't hear one mention of Alonzo Mourning out of Marv Albert and his partner.

I didnt even think about Zo but your right

Im almost at the point where I say sit everyone untill the last few games just to get them healthy, but that might cost us the #2 seed

After I saw Wade get hurt after that Jumper my first thoughts were 'health is more important now we lose Wade its over home court or not'

It would be great if the Nets go on a little slide that gives us a cushion and lets us rest our starters

That's a pretty narrow-minded way of looking at things.

If Wade scored 60 and we never lead, is it still "common sense"?? Some of Dan Marino's greatest games came in losses.

Great players can play great regardless of the outcome.

if ur scorin that much ur team should win.

Also, you gotta love Marv Albert (and later NBA postgame) peeing themselves over Kustic's slam on Wade. I mean, we're talking about a 6-11 center dunking on a 6-4 guard who's racing to catch up to him. Am I missing something??

That's what I love about Wade. He doesn't care. He gives maximum effort no matter what.

I gotta disagree with what Riley is doing....

Sitting players for no reason against playoff teams is not a good way to get your team ready to play in the playoffs.

They had a chance to play New Jersey with their full compliment (minus ZO) and Riley sits out Posey and MORE IMPORTANTLY J-Will...

He then Plays Kapono for the first time in almost a month for heavy minutes....He doesn't play Simien....

They didn't put the Vince Killer (Shandon Anderson) to deny Vince the ball and rough him up like last year in the playoffs..and they had a rather vanilla "who cares" attitude till they looked up at the score board and said..."Holly crap we are getting killed."

I think they should have taken this game more seriously than they did. There is no reason to give NJ more confidence....

of course...watch...just like last time...Riley will go ballistic to try and beat the Pistons on Thursday...

And again...why are the Heat so putrid in the second half of a back to back?

Personally...I have said this before and will say it again...the Heat fashion show must stop...just play these guys already.

J-Will sure looked fine going coast to coast in 4 seconds against Cleveland..and then they sit him against New Jersey?

They do have to get back to playing Shandon chest to chest with Vince...that matchup man to man sucks against a player like Vince and lebron.

I fail to see what that has to do with the point we're debating.

To this new subject, scoring big doesn't assure you of victory. Look no further than last night's Heat-Cavs game.
