Good post Bamaphin...

On Lamar Odom....boy does he have thin skin....

Payton was talking a ton of trash and what does Odom do? He takes to bumping into Payton and elbowing Haslem after haslem takes a rebound....Haslem laughed at him...Payton went off with a string of expletives...It was fun if you can read lips....

watched the game but not much of a lip reader - anybody hear or know exactly what g.p. said to lamar...?

1. Wow, you got taken out in 6 in one appearance and swept in another. Congrats.

and that's 10 more Finals games than the Heat have played.

And thats 8 finals losses more than the heat have. Good job ignoring my second point btw.

Wade is shooting 45% from the field, Carter 46% and carter has taken 103 3 pointers while Wade just 31.

Ah leave it to the fan to try to pump up their player with bogus stats. Both players actually score at a similar clip....Wade at 1.34 pts per shot and Vince at 1.32. The real difference is that Wade actually passes the ball with some effectiveness and plays D when necessary.

I think right now the Nets are right there with the Heat, Pacers, and Cavs for who's the 2nd best team in the Eastern Conference!

I'm sure most Net fans would agree with you. But the fact remains that while they are a good team and quite fun to watch they are going nowhere again when playoff time comes. No defense + no post presence = first round exit. It was funny watching Cliff trying to guard Shaq...but that just shows how pitiful the rest of their post defenders are.

Someone was tellingn us that wade shoots a much higher %, I just proved that was false. Thanks for noticing!

You wish you had the opportunity to have 8 Finals' losses.

2. What does your team's failure in the Finals have to do with the team they are today? Which is, you know, what Blueprint was talking about in the first place.

I posted it b/c a fan of the Het who have never won anything was telling a Nets fan to pipe down.

I don't disagree, they need some help. Maybe Thorn can swing a deadline deal b/c if not the Nets will probably go out in rd 2.

I don't take pleasure in watching my team lose, so no, I don't.

He said that the Heat are a better team than the Nets are right now, which is a fact. And since when was losing the finals, twice, considered "winning" anything?

Don't worry b/c you'll never have that opportumnity.

The 16-12 Heat are better than the 15-12 Nets? That's a fact? it's probably true but considering you had your regular lineup intact and the Nets beat you on your home floor and the records are almost identical I can't say it's a fact.

Winning the Eastern Conference is considered winning, it's something the Heat have never done so if the Nets were not winners for those 2 years than I guess the heat have always been losers?

Heat are 8.5 point favorites tonight at home. Think they cover? Milwaukee couldn't even handle Orlando last night.

I'm going to bring this quote up in June, thank you for the ammunition.

We have the better record, and that's with us running our starting lineup for a total of TWO games. And we beat you without Shaq earlier in the year. We're better.

I'm sure you felt like a winner after getting swept.(In the Finals that is, not when we swept you, although I'm sure that gave you the warm and fuzzies too)

I don't know, Milwaukee is pretty good. They just had an off night. If both teams play well, we should just barely cover, considering that we're at home.

But a Heat fan who has never seen a Finals should start talking crap? at ;east the Nets have made 2 trips in the last 4 years while Miami has never made it.
Nice way to counter an argument! I don't give a damn about what you're team did a few years ago, I'm talking about right now. See, now you're showing your true self by getting childish, talking about history as if it has anything to do with the 2005-2006 NBA season. Yeah, the Nets made it to the finals and got their ***** handed to them, congrats! Good luck with that, because you'll be living off of that for atleast 10 more years as a Nets fan. :sidelol:

Say what you want about my team, but atleast we'll contend and have a good chance to get there now, as well as the upcoming years. We don't have to dwell on the past. Unlike you Nets fans, we actually have a present and future.

First of all, relax, because the Cavs aren't even in this argument. In a playoff situation, there's no way that team can "hang" with Detroit and Miami. Detroit is the CLEAR CUT best team in the conference right now, and Miami is second. Indiana is not really in this argument unless they can get a good player or two for Ron Artest, because without Artest, they're not even as good as last year (no Reggie Miller)! I could care less about December standings.

Actually, it is factual. The Nets are not even contenders. It's December of the regular season, not many care for standings when comparing two teams. Calm down. :shakeno:

:sidelol:

The Nets fans are all giddy over one win!

WOW....things must really be bad in New Jersey....

How quickly people forget that Shaq missed 18 games...Posey missed 8, Doleac, Anderson missed 10 games....and Doleac missed alot of those games when Shaq was hurt...so we had a 6'8 guy backing Up ZO.....J-Will missed 6 games.....

and the starting lineup has played a grand total of TWO games.....and we are still 16-12....

The Nets are not even in the same zip code as the Heat...In fact....It is a two team Eastern Conference this year....(I really liked Indiana..but this Artest thing has destroyed that team..)

The Interesting thing about the NBA this year is the West....it will be much more competetive in the playoffs this year.....The Spurs are the class...but they could get beat this year....there are some really dangerous teams...and if Denver can get Artest...WATCH OUT....
