When Derek Anderson hit that three to give us a 1 point lead and Chicago got the the line and made 1/2 free throws; the biggest mistake of the game came.....Derek Anderson, with the game tied, then took a three in the corner where he was CONTESTED; with about 15-18 seconds left to shoot. That's where you bang it back inside with Shaq, or let Wade drive to the rim for 2 or maybe even a 3 point play.

Biggest mistake, and it seems like a COACHING error to me. You do not go back and shoot long three's contested when the game is tied like that, and you've got Shaq & Wade on your team. Just stupid.

O'well, game finished a while back and the Heat got their ***** handed to 'em again.
 
For the most part DA played a great game....you cant lay this one on him. The Bulls have just played great defense on Wade and Shaq the last two games. Chandler is doing a hell of a job positioning himself to draw the charges and contest shots.

I have to say its hard to not root for the Bulls to pull off the upset. Just watching Walker stand there with a dumb look on his face after failing to rotate and giving up yet another wide open three.... Its just boggles the mind that these guys have played this long in the NBA and are this bad on defense. Wade and Haslem I can forgive to some extent.....they are relative newcomers. Payton looks like a slow old man next to Gordon....Hinrich makes Jwill look like a fool, and Nocioni has no problem going around Haslem or Walker.

It looks like the Heat will just have to score 100+ points a game to win....the only thing thats stopping the Bulls from scoring is them missing open shots. That means Shaq needs to stay in the game and the supporting cast needs to hit the threes.

I dont hate the heats I hate shaq. After what he said about the lakers org., about Jerry Buss, and about the fans I hope he never suceeds anymore in the NBA.:evil:

It never fails to amuse how these idiot fans feel more of a connection to the billionaire that owns the team than to the players that provide the entertainment. Its almost as bad as the Bill's fans who feel pity for their billionaire owner since he only steals 20 mil a year from them instead of the 40 mil he feels he deserves.

Shaq never anything but gracious to the fans in LA....he may have had some venom directed towards the ownership and a certain player on that team, but not the fans.

Idiot fans. I hate when idiots post thinking they know everything when in fact they know crap. Shaq will be forever a part of the lakers but he disses the fans, the city, the owner, and ultimatly the team. Its all about the name on the front of the jersey not the back. I remember the play..

The ball rotated to that wing and DA just shot it...

He was supposed to penetrate or bring it back for the spread and a WADE ISO..

he just...shot it. :eek:

Maybe he was feeling it and was playing on pure emotion..that three goes down and it is a dagger.

he just missed it.

Don't forget how unkind the rim was to Toine in a couple of threes that were on the mark.

Guys..the guy that played bad defense in this game was Wade..for the most part...

The refs tamed our guys with their calls....we just LET THEM tame us..

No worries guys..the playoffs are just wacky this year...the friggin SPURS are getting killed of all people..The Pistons got murdered by the Bucks..the Lakers are up 3-1..It's just wacky.

Normalcy will resume when the games begin to matter much more..I expect all the top seeds to pull through...although the Suns do look like they are in BAD SHAPE.
 
Tyson Chandler's injury is being called a "minor, insignificant sprained ankle".

I have had a sprain ankle before..in fact..I have had at least 4 or 5 before..

I NEVER THREW MYSELF ON THE FLOOR LIKE I HAD BEEN SHOT.

Either Tyson Chandler is a wuss..or it's more serious than they are saying.
 
Tyson chandler injury looks like it hurt. When I've twisted my ankle its taken me at least a week to be able to walk normal let alone run. i guess that why they have cortizone.
 
ok after the heat win the finals
we get rid of payton & walker & j williams & who ever else to get someone like ray allen so the heat can repeat....

just a thought....

No...he trashed the team, the owner, and a player on that team....and you are a fan enough to infer this to be an insult of you and your kind. Shaq never said anything negative about the fans in LA. And wake up to the reality of the NBA. Fans root for and against Kobe...not the Lakers. The league has been one of individuals ever since the NBA decided it was in its best interests to vault Jordan to demigod status.
 
I missed the game, what happened to the Heat? I still think they win the next two games and win in 6

You answered the main questions why Los Angeles hate shaq. And he also trashed the city which is us the fans. After so much lakers bashing we wanted him gone. He's not better then the team. We've won Championship without him. To say that we cheer for only Kobe not the Lakers is absurb. Maybe that your reality since you live a carolina. You may have forgot that the lakers fans have packed the forum since the 70's. Even when they have a losing season just like last year they still have higher TV ratings than any other team. If Jason Taylor ever left Miami and critize the Organization, the city, the owner then I would hate Jason Taylor and I do believe most fans would. I cheer for team not for individuals like most fans unlike you.
