I think Miami will win the series. But that's assuming we'll find a way to hold Vince Carter under 50 a game.

Seriously, I think Miami's defense will continue to play better. Mourning will continue to get back. But James Posey will need to be huge this series defensively. NJ has two outstanding perimeter scorers.

The games are all 1 day apart. So that's to NJ's advantage.

I'm guessing you are thinking Heat in 3 assuming they will beat the Nets so bad the 1st 3 games that the Nets will quit thus no need for a Game 4?

I love how the Nets and the Jets use identical chants, with one letter swapped out. It's really creative.

I was at a Magic-Nets game once and these fools were shouting "N-E-T-S! Nets Nets Nets!" behind me...when the Nets were down about 15 points. After they lost, the dude was twirling around his Nets jersey on the concourse as if they had just won the game.

Like the heat pre-Shaq the Nets don't have alot of fans and they started using the chant a few years ago. It's still better than "Miami Dolphins #1":D

Do you realize that 75% or more of Wade's three pointers attempted this past season were half/full court shots at the end of a quarter? :rolleyes2

Every post you make, you seem to reach longer than Tayshaun Prince's arms.

And your point is.............

I was just comparing Jefferson with Wade. Somebody said that Jefferson makes most of his points off of dunks, which is exactly like wade who gets most of his points off of drives layup/dunks. They both shoot 49% from the field. Not saying that jefferson is better just saying that he can be a superstar player if he chose to be but he's a role player because of vince.

Well i'm sorry i can't be all over wade's jock like you........:rolleyes2

You guys stick up for wade when no one's even attacking him!!!!

Quick question.

What has been SHAQ's highest FG% numbers?

More importantly..WHEN?

Look at his numbers per minute..they are as good now as they ever have been.

Against Chicago..when the refs didn't sit him on the bench...he dominated. THAT IS A FACT.

and if he plays at least 36 minutes per game vs. the Nets..he will average 26 and 14...EASY. Those are dominating numbers.

Shaq is only old when the refs sit him with phoney fouls.

If.......key word there......never said that shaq doesn't have the ability all i'm saying is that most likely he won't dominate for the entire series maybe a game or 2 but not the series. He's only averaging 31 mpg so far with over 4 fouls per game. Fouls are part of the game. Phoney or not it's still a foul and if he continues to get in foul trouble every night he WILL NOT dominate.

NO..I said Heat in 6 about 4,000 times already..so it's boring.

But I like that Heat in 3 prediction..it will give us rest for the Pistons.

Nope but we do have Jason Collins who's a very good flopper. And yes one or two games....He did only score over 20 once against the Nets in 3 game this year.

Same for you.....we took 3 out of 4 and we should of won the game you won had wade not blocked vince's gw layup. I can't wait to see how the heat plan on stopping Vince.....cuz it can't be done.....He owns the Heat this year.....38.5 ppg, 7.75 rebounds per game and 5.5 apg

It does if he doesn't attack the basket but it's playoff time baby. He has to stick to what made him a star. Drivng, finishing, creating the foul. If he does those things then it will be impossible to stop him.

Our defense has improved dramatically the past few games vs the Bulls and I'm eager to see how they will come out vs the Nets. No doubt Jefferson and Vince are a deadly combo that can be impossible to gaurd at times.. But if Posey can continue his excellent play and ZO is back healthy manning the middle I'm confident in our defense.
