I admit I was rooting for the Pistons because I had money on them winning the championship (I have nothing against either team, I'm a Wizards fan) but I'd like to first off say congrats to the Heat for reaching the finals and beating, whether you want to believe it or not, a VERY good basketball team.

A couple things I'd like to say...

Dwyane Wade is an amazing player...give him a few more years and he may be better than Lebron and Kobe. Not only is he a great player, but he has heart, determination, and is respectful...gotta love a player like that.

I've never seen a good shooting team like the Pistons miss so many easy, wide open shots like that. It was frustrating, yet amusing at the same time.

My prayers of seeing Ben Wallace or Shaquille O'Neal shoot a 3 went unanswered, damn you Flip Saunders and Pat Riley.

Once again...congrats to you Heat fans and the Heat organization on your first Finals appearance, and good luck guys.

By the way, who saw WHITE CHOCOLATE's (Jason Williams) live interview with the press? Man, he tore the press a new hole.

Don't worry, J-Will. Unlike Chauncey, Jason Terry/Steve Nash don't play much defense.

I did.

Remember guys the finals format is

2-3-2

We need to get one on the road and try to sweep them at home somehow...whoever they may be

We go down 3-2 and we have to win 2 road games in a row...not easy

See, this is the best way to win the conference.

We didn't win it because of Shaquille O'Neal.
We didn't win it because of Dwyane Wade.
We didn't win it because of Shaq & D-Wade.

We won as a team and played team basketball. Jason Williams stepped up. Antoine Walker stepped up. Udonis Haslem stepped up. James Posey stepped up. Gary Payton stepped up. Hell, Shandon Anderson stepped up. Zo played 6 minutes, but his presence is always felt. And to Pat Riley, I'll eat my crow for critisizing the biggest trade in NBA history JUST BECAUSE of Antoine Walker, even though I love Posey & J-Will. Last year's team couldn't of beaten the Pistons with 14 points by Dwyane Wade - impossible. Not when Damon Jones scores 1 point the entire game - no way. I always had confidence in the Miami Heat, but before the playoffs, I picked Detroit & Miami in the ECF and Detroit to win it in 7. I get frustrated with this team a lot because they CAN play like this for 48 minutes every night, man. We did this tonight, the entire team.

In the words of Pat Riley, "15 Strong" - that's our tagline, nothing else. Whether you're playing, on the bench, or not even on the playoff roster, this team...is a team. Oh, and a damn good team I might add.

Hats off to the Detroit Pistons on a great season. No love lost, but rather respect gained.

I saw the interview, i didnt like 2of the things he said but i cant remember it now. One was about himself and the other i didnt like was when he said he knew when shaq would have a good game by the way his attitude. If shaq can pick and choose when he wants a good game and half the time he just doesnt want to that pisses me off. he should be giving 110% every game

Nah its not like that

Sometimes you just have that fire in you, your supposed to have it every time you play...but some days it just comes out and you wont be denied, and as hard as you try its not just a switch you turn off and on...its unexplainable really, its not that your not giving it all you have other days...its just that day you have more

Thats just shaq. If he gave 110% everygame he should have 30pts, 15reb, 8blocks a game. But shaq at 80% is still the most dominating center in the league.

I can't wait to watch TNT tomorrow to see their "gone fishing" segment :D

When the Heat lose to the Pistons their season will end the same way the Knicks did....without a ring. At least the Knicks will be able to say they won their last game of the year however! :sidelol:
ok
