No way. It hits him in stride, arms extended. 1. The air on the ball and 2. How fast Wallace was moving. Perfect pass.

As ugly as that PI tackle was by Newman, it saved a TD. But it was a ghetto play. Ugly.

Well, that much is true. But chances are he catches it. Nothing is for certain, though -- agreed. That drop by A.J. Green on 3rd down... wow. So, yeah. Doesn't mean it was gonna be caught for sure. But if so, it was TD and game over in DRAMATIC fashion.

As it was, it flipped the field and set up the D making the play. Good all around.

I have said it time and time again.............you don't have to be able to complete the deep pass in order for it to pay off. I will remind anyone who cares to say otherwise in the future of this exact play.

He is a 1 trick pony and a bust. He is a good player, but not for the money he is making.

Its like they said on NFL Netowrk, he might be a one trick pony but its a hell of a trick. That trick could have won the game on this play.

It was really great awareness by Newton, I wonder if he would have taken his chances if the game was still in regulation or if he did it there just because a score ends the game.

But that is the one trick he has, you run the ball and things happen with play action, that was a TD because as you say he can only do that, by the way he had 65 yards and that play would have put him in the 150 level

I dont think Wallace was gonna catch that ball. He is one of the least fundamentally sound wr in the league ugly to watch. Ben made him

So you don't think and we have to value your opinion more than the CB that was covering him and thought Wallace was gone, I think that was a td for sure and Wallace would have been the hero instead of Wake.
That penalty cost the Bengals the game.
