The most bothersome aspect of yesterday's game

Anybody see the video of the Jets players when Rex was told they are bringing him back??? That would never happen with Philbin

The opening where he walked out of the tunnel by himself with the blank stare was priceless

He had that mouth agape blank state look the entire ****ing game. He has to go.

Seeing Tannehill laughing on the sideline was also gross.

I think it's because Philbin has turned everyone into mindless drones. He banishes any strong leaders and now we're left with what we see on Sunday's. It's a giant 'group think' yes-man mentality we got going on in that building

Coach like a cheap tent, fold like a cheap tent.

I disagree with this. What's so special and badass about John Harbaugh, Tony Dungy, Mike McCarthy and Bill Belichick?

I have seen all of them but Dungy lose their damn minds on the sidelines before and get into players asses.
I even saw Bill Walsh come unglued on Joe Montana once....
Maybe i'm just old-school and don't feel the time-out way of handling things gets rewarded.
I want some accountability.

Namor said what I've been thinking. Teams take on their coaches personality. Pete Carroll is another example, gum chewing and everything. I would not mind a Gruden right about now. Who are the most rumored coaches to coach again? Gruden and Cowher. Both intense guys. No one clamors for Cam Cameron to return to the NFL..

This team talked so much **** about having a chip on its shoulder cause nobody supported them early in the year. Next year it's put up or shut up from this fan base after this team decided to go home early this year. I will not blindly support this team next year. They are going to have to prove it this time. They did not want to go to the playoffs. They were looking forward to the off season.

Andy Reid. Mike McCarthy just to name a couple of lifeless coaches that have solid teams.

Joe totally lost his **** at the officials in a game this year. I don't remember which game it was but he went totally ballistic. I also know he's reamed out some assistant coaches in front of the team before. It's not that he never gets animated -- it's just that you never really see it.

Speaking of the game itself, the most bothersome for me was when they picked up that PI flag and then the matthews dropped pass. Those two plays were stuck in my head the rest of the game.

The thing that bothered me the most about the game was that Jeff Ireland wasn't fired immediately following it.

a team full of choir-boy yes-men drones is what we have. No characters and no personalities whatsoever (sans Pouncey). We have so many dumb players, just looking at their interviews with their dumbfounded looks and all their duh's tells you everything.

Nobody on this team is likeable at all. It's a band of boring, colorless, idiots in that room

The fins have no fire. They just go through the motions and draw their pay. They do what they have to, but there is no fire to be the best. Like robots they will say all the right things when asked, but they dont mean any of it. The proof in on the field. The team really only has two or three talented players. The rest are just lumps of meat with numbers on their shirts. They will sneak up on teams that are down or are looking passed them, but talent against talent and game plan against game plan, the fins fall short when it really matters. I've been a fan since the early 1970's and have seen all sorts of Dolphin teams. This one just has no fire to be the best.

I just made this post in another part of the forum. It seems this is the thread it belongs in. Did anyone else notice this and if so did anyone get the sense Hartline was content with the season coming to a close? I could just be reading too much into it. Im not sure tbh. Id like to know what others think.

Anyone else notice that when Hartline was taken to that table right after he was injured, the Dr was examining him and he gave a nod, suggesting they knew it was some kind of ligament damage and that he would not be returning to the game. He seemed to really not give much of a ****. Its almost as if he didnt care.

I donno. Maybe Im making a big deal over nothing? Ive seen a lot of players when that happens, especially in that spot become pissed and slam helmets or some ****. Hartline just seemed content with his season being over. As the game went on, he seemed to give less than a **** that we were losing and an entire years worth of work was all for nothing. He just stood there on the sideline with his hat, watching as if he was ready to go to the bar and have some beers. Its as if its just a game to him and he felt like he had better **** to do.

Am I reading to much into it?
