Most people on this site have a lot to say about the offense. The 2 sides that I have seen is that the offense is working fine with the short intermediate routes. Or the other side is saying, we have Mike Wallace we should be challenging defenses with his speed. My question to everyone is this; has this offense changed in anyway since the days of Marino? Even with new coaches, players and regimes the offense to me has always looked like this. Short routes and quick drop backs from the QB. We never really went vertical in any offense in the last 14 years. So the team brings in Mike Wallace and we continue to go short. I am not surprised this is happening because to me it has always happened that way. Please let me know if I am mistaken with this mentality.
