The Official 2006 New York Yankees Thread!

i cant handle watching schilling throw < 10 pitches an inning anymore lol

We may have a pitching duel on our hands tonight. I know there's a lot of games left but I'm getting that feeling (although Wang has got to get the ball down)!

Us thinking a lot, someone please check I think hell is freezing over  . Seriously though both pitchers look good, especially Schilling, he's striking out our line-up like we're little leaguers. Either way though, I think this game is coming down to the end like it always does. Hopefully Wang can hold up his end of the bargain!

Comming up big with the 0-2 counts and 2 out innings against Schilling. I feel deja-vu.

Even though that Giambi at-bat yielded no runs, it was huge for the yankee team as a whole to add to an already high pitch inning.

i agree, it looked as if Schilling was going to throw a CG 2-hitter till that point (2 out rally) but giambi's ability to rack up pitch counts is a great talent

Sheffield just struck out in the 4th for Trenton, the first time he was retired tonight (not sure what he did in his other at bats)!
