In Memory of Thurman Munson!
Passed away 27 years ago today!​
 
I was 13 years old when Munson died. I remember watching the news and they said the Thurman was practicing takeoffs and landings from an airport when his plane crashed. Even though I have never been a Yankees fan, I loved Thurman for the way he played the game. He and Yogi were the best Yank's catchers ever.
 
Abreu is doing well IMO. He is 2 for 2 so far and he is having very good quality at bats. I knew he was a disciplined and patient hitter, but I didn't know he was this good.

RIP.....The yanks in 1st for the first time in a while....and they have the 2nd best pct. in the majors!!!!
