MikeO said:That Hanley Rameriez for Beckett trade isn't looking so hot these days. We are a few weeks away from that being on the Kazimer for Zambrano level maybe of all time blunders.
What's the over/under on days until Beckett announces he has a blister?
Ray Finkle said:Oh please don't embarass yourself with comments like that. Beckett hasn't been good this year but he's 100 times better than Zambrino on his best day. The trade isn't anything like the Kazmir/Zambrino trade anyway, it's not even close. Plus you can't judge a trade over 1 years time anyway. .
MikeO said:maybe, but I don't see Beckett having much success in the AL though. And Hanley might be an all star SS for years to come. It could turn out to be a BAD trade. Hanley will be dueling with Reyes each year for the starting SS spot in the NL. An everyday SS like that is tough to part with and when you do you want a sure thing in return. Im not sure Boston got that.

Palbeons 9th, thats another story.
Jeter with another big hit this series.
Ray Finkle said:You do have to give Papelbon credit though, even if he blew the save. That 8th inning took a lot out of him, and he shouldn't have even had to be in that spot to begin with.
I really think the Mirabelli passed ball is the turning point of the game.
