sorry if this has been posted already...Anyways, post your picks and we'll see who was most accurate at season's end.

EASTERN CONFERENCE
FIRST ROUND:

1) Cleveland Cavaliers over 8) Detroit Pistons, 4-2
2) Boston Celtics over 7) Chicago Bulls, 4-2
3) Orlando Magic over 6) Philadelphia 76ers, 4-1
5) Miami Heat over 4) Atlanta Hawks, 4-3 (D-Wade explodes in game 7)

ECSF:

1) Cleveland Cavaliers over 5) Miami Heat, 4-2
2) Boston Celtics over 3) Orlando Magic, 4-3 (even w/o Garnett)

ECF:

1) Cleveland Cavaliers over 2) Boston Celtics, 4-3

WESTERN CONFERENCE
FIRST ROUND

1) Los Angeles Lakers over 8) Utah Jazz, 4-1
2) Denver Nuggets over 7) New Orleans Hornets, 4-2
3) San Antonio Spurs over 6) Dallas Mavericks, 4-3 (hardest series to pick)
5) Houston Rockets over 4) Portland Trailblazers, 4-2 (Houston will take games 2,3,4, and 6...Blazers too inexperienced).

WCSF

1) Los Angeles Lakers over 5) Houston Rockets, 4-1
3) San Antonio Spurs over 2) Denver Nuggets, 4-3 (echoing the SA-NO series of last year)

WCF
1) Los Angeles Lakers over 3) San Antonio Spurs, 4-0

NBA Finals

Los Angeles Lakers over Cleveland Cavaliers, 4-1
Finals MVP: Pau Gasol (never thought I'd ever even imagine that).

Cleveland over Detroit 4-2
Boston over Chicago 4-2
Orlando over Philadelphia 4-2
Atlanta over Miami 4-3

L.A. Lakers over Utah 4-1
Denver over New Orleans 4-2
S.A. over Dallas 4-2
Portland over Houston 4-3

2nd round predictions will come after the first round is over

All I can say is that I hope Miami and Cleveland make it into the second round......I can't wait to see 7 games of Wade vs. Lebron. Except for Orlando/Philli, all of the first round series should be a lot of fun to watch. Utah and Detroit are both very good teams when they play their best ball.

Except for Philly? Hmm. As if we have no chance...

Lets go Heat! I wont make any predictions because they would be really biased

I'm WAY more scared of a Garnett-less Boston team than the media darling Cavs. The Magic have more problems with balanced teams, i.e. Boston, Detroit, Atlanta, than one-man shows, i.e. Cleveland and Miami.

If the Magic can get past Boston and that little ******* Eddie House, I have no doubt they can beat the Cavs to get to the Finals.

Look at the Magic vs. Cavs in the regular season. In both matchups in Orlando, the Magic won by about 15 and 30 in the first and second matchups. (that was when the starters got taken out in the 4th quarter. Both games ended up closer than they really were.)
Also, the Cavs needed some SERIOUSLY questionable calls late in the 4th in Cleveland for them to only win by 4. I swear, the refs and Stern REFUSED to let Lebron lose that highly-watched game.

If we can get by a highly athletic 76ers team and Boston, I feel we will get to the Finals.

Go Magic!

I'm surprised by this.

If you think the Magic can beat the Celtics, then they can surely beat the Cavs. Magic fans like me know we match up WAY better against Cleveland than Boston.

We shall see.

Well if you guys can beat my Sixers, and get to face the Cavs, no hard feelings as long as you beat Cleveland. God I hate the Cavs. Not that I think you guy's won't beat Cleveland though. Cleveland crumbles when facing good teams...
