***The Official Miami Heat Thread***

Heat beat Cavs on a pretty hyped up ending. Up by one, Norris Cole misses 2 FT's and the Cavs get the ball back with 13 seconds left. Cole steals it..GAME!

Anyone going out to the AAA to get the free White Hot decals? 6-10am

If it hadn't been for that early bout of indifference this team could have flirted with the all time wins record and Spo would have the COTY award locked up. I think Karl will get it though. You can make an argument for so many different coaches and him winning the award will be a recognition of a lifetime of work along with a great season. Its his turn.

Still an incredible regular season for the Heat. Here's hoping they can follow it up with a dominant run through the eastern conference and a beatdown of whoever comes out of the west.

hey ferret i know you are a year round nba fan...i was wondering if you could take the 8 opening round series and rank them in terms of must watch on down the line...1-8...trying to get your take on the most intriguing and glued to the seat matchups in your opinion...

I like Rob's list:

For me it just depends how the series play out. The Rockets/Thunder and Lakers/Spurs are probably 5 game series......then again if they're 2-2 after 4 those series become must see basketball. NY/Boston, LAC/Memphis, and Golden State/Denver are the most logical picks to combine good basketball with a long series, but you just don't know. The Heat romped through the 2011 postseason with some 5 game series that they had no business winning in 5 before crashing in the finals, then struggled in 2012 with teams that they should have beaten with ease before winning it all.

Good start to the playoffs! Bring another one home!! GO HEAT!!!
I don't think the Heat will have to break a sweat until the conference finals at the earliest. It should be an easy road to the Finals for the Heat, and then they would have to work a little.

Birdman is like a pure adrenaline shot to this team and fans, Love that pickup.

The Bulls can make them work if they manage to knock off the Nets. Noah/Gibson/Butler/Deng can give the Heat players fits even if that team isn't talented enough to win more than one or two games in a series. I think a healthy Boston team would be able to take the Heat out of their game as well.

Everyone thought last year was gonna be a breeze to the final... that didn't work out that well.. It will always be a grind. It's the playoffs win or go home. Heat all day though.

I'm surprised this part of the forums is like a desert. Considering people here are Miami fans mostly and its a sports forum you would think the only National Champion team right now would get some love on here!
