Yea, but the red sox said they are done talking, but I bet they will listen if the rangers decide to lessen their demands.
 
First of all the defense brokedown in more than one game, at lest three off the top of my head....Last week, the Titans game, and the first NE game....that's 50% of our losses that can be directly attributed to the defense.

Second of all, the A-Rod deal will get done and it will be Texas that compromises. Lucky knows he holds the upper hand here because of so many factors but, probably the most important is that just swapping A-Rod for Ramirez straight up would result in an 81 million dollar savings for Tom Hicks. he would be a fool not to try and get as much as he could but, he would also be a fool not to take the 81 million dollar savings. Note that tom Hicks also owns the Dallas Stars, who play in the NHL....a league that may not even play next year....combine that with a less than stellar personal financial year, plus the fact that he's hemorraging money with the Rangers and you see a guy that MUST get this deal done.
 
Now the rangers are redoing arods contract, they have freed up 13 mill but the sox want more free'd up or pay less for manny.
